Insufficient information regarding costs and high rates During an emergency, I used the services of BOS Installateurs BV. When I made the telephone request, I was only told that the call-out fee would be €39. It was not mentioned that this amount was exclusive of VAT or that an additional €197 in hourly labor costs, also exclusive of VAT, would be added. I did not have the opportunity to refuse the service because it was an emergency situation. The total amount is much higher than at other companies offering the same service. If I had known the actual costs beforehand, I certainly would not have chosen this service. Desired solution: I expect BOS Installateurs BV to come up with a suitable solution for this situation themselves.

Booked based on a stated €39 call-out fee — no mention of extra costs. The technician only removed the boiler cover, declared it unrepairable, and left after about 15 minutes, with no real diagnostics or explanation. I was then charged a total of €285 for "Start Tarief + Diagnose" that was never disclosed beforehand.

Also unusual: they demanded payment in cash or by card on the spot, before providing any invoice — the invoice only came after payment. That's not standard practice in NL and left no chance to review charges before paying.

When I disputed the charge, they refused a refund and said they wouldn't respond to further requests. Poor transparency and poor customer service — avoid unless you get everything in writing first.

I contacted Heijden Installateurs regarding a boiler issue. During the phone call, I was clearly told that the cost would be €39 for the technician to come and perform a diagnosis, and that any further work would first be discussed and approved.

When the technician arrived, it turned out that the €39 only covered the call-out, and a mandatory start tariff was charged on top for inspection and the first working period. This was not transparently communicated during the phone call.

Unfortunately, my wife signed the document before the work started. At that moment our baby was crying and the situation was stressful. The minimum mandatory charges were not clearly explained as such. Because the document had been signed, we felt pressured and obliged to pay.

The invoice was issued by BOS Installateurs B.V., which was not the company name we initially contacted.

Additionally:
• No clear written description of the performed work was provided.
• Different explanations were given about the alleged issue.
• No documented technical findings were shared.

The boiler is currently functioning normally.

The main issue is the lack of transparent price communication and clarity before the visit. I strongly advise others to request full written confirmation of all charges before agreeing to an appointment.

This company shall not be called for anything. They came to my home, told me one socket is has resulted in the fuse going off and charged me €690 for it. The worse company to reach out, I only reached out as I had an emergency and unfortunately this stupid company was promoted by Google.

Total scam. Stay away from them they know how to do it. They charged me 700 euros for just simply replacing a switch under stressful conditions. I'm taking this to the court. No matter how much the costs will be.

BTW: For me they were called from another website which I used named elektricienvandijk.nl

They are scammers, steer clear. They charged me 1025 euros for 45 mins of work where they checked whether there was any gas leak. No indication whatsoever of what the cost would be by the repairman beforehand. They lied to me about the costs on the phone. DO NOT contact them
