On Sep 11 I swapped 575,830 TRX (~$193,000) through InstaSwap. Order ID: IK726CC4. The route was executed by NEAR Intents — the provider InstaSwap chose, not me.
My deposit confirmed instantly. The next day the provider's own system marked the swap FAILED. Two weeks later: no delivery, no refund, no explanation. The provider's official API still shows refundedAmount: 0.
InstaSwap's homepage promises: "Funds return automatically if a swap fails." Their Terms promise failed orders are returned to your refund address. Reality: support twice redirected me to NEAR — their own subcontractor. Their Compliance team then confirmed in writing: the swap FAILED, nothing was refunded, nothing was delivered — and "we cannot return assets never in our possession."
So $193,000 disappeared into a pipeline InstaSwap selected, the "automatic refund" turned out to be marketing fiction, and the customer is left alone between two companies pointing at each other. They promised a substantive answer by Sep 30. The money is still missing.
If you plan to swap any serious amount here, know this: if it fails, you're on your own. I will update this review if the refund for order IK726CC4 ever arrives.

I normally use another exchange
I normally use another exchange, but it wasn't accepting my currency pair. I tried Instaswap & it worked perfectly fine. Would use again if my primary changer isn't working.

instaswap is great! What sets them apart is the great customer support they provide! I recently made a transaction where I forgot to provide some extra info. I thought the tokens were lost, but after they contacted their liquidity provider, I was able to retrieve them! What I also really like is that they always get back to me quickly with any updates they have.
