George Ghattas helped us understand the value proposition for solar with a professional presentation for sizing & pricing that gave us confidence in the return on investment proposal. The installation team needed two visits to fit the panels due to a windy storm, but did an excellent job that looked good & again made us feel comfortable that we had chosen the best team to do the job. We look forward to appreciating the valuable impact of solar energy in reducing our monthly bill payments as well as generating money back from the retailer from our feed-in capacity, all according to the original plan presented. Instyle Solar are highly recommended service providers.

It has been almost 3 months since the installation. During this time, I’ve had 2 complete Ergon Energy bills come through. Both have indicated a reduction in energy costs with a monthly bill between $90 - 100. With credit from the Queensland Solar Scheme the monthly bill has come down further to $70 – 75 (you can see further details above in the breakdown of each bill and the system and installation details as part of REVIEW: PART 1).

The overall energy costs indicated by Ergon Energy states that my home is now similar to the 1-person household (I am not sure how accurate this is so I usually take this with a grain of salt – for future reference, we are usually a 3-person household), and on average energy costs me $2.50/day.

Overall, combined with my monthly costs for repayments through Rate Setter (5-7 years repayment plan), my annual bill currently is around $2400.00 which is on par with my previous annual energy costs.

Note: Please take into consideration it has also been winter with less energy consumption compared to the warmer months. Costs will likely escalate significantly so it will be interesting how it matches up then.

Efficient and friendly service. Solar system is working well and they even helped us with some extra electrical work without charge. Highly recommend this company if you are considering solar.

Highly recommend!! Joel was informative and honest so it was an easy decision on who to trust but what happened upon installation is the reason I HAVE to recommend Instyle Solar.

Whilst installing the panels, the team noticed that my neighbours roof had a cracked tile. They took pictures and let me know to inform him but they took it further! When they noticed my neighbour coming home they went to see him and offered to help fix it for him free!!
This level of service and consideration is almost non existent nowadays and speaks highly of the individuals hired.

Our consultant Bryan Adams was very professional in dealing with us. He asked the right questions and understood our solar requirements. He was very knowledgeable and made the process easy to follow and understand.

There were no deviations to the timeline from when we purchased the product to final installation. They are highly reliable.

The very first month of going live with Instyle Solar, we received a c.$90.00 credits.

The Instyle Solar app is very friendly to use as well.

With so many solar suppliers on the market we were keen to choose one with a good solid background and reasonably priced, and Instyle fit the bill. Can't say enough about the team who installed my solar system for me, lead by Trent they were all very professional, courteous, understanding and not phased by the stuff up prior to them arriving to do the job. But in the end it was all sorted and it was finally fitted. But then came the next challenge to get it working. We had a few hiccups, rain is not favourable to running around a large shed roof but the acreage didn't mind a bit, but Trent was adament he would get the job done. It took a series of visits over time but the job was successfully completed. I am one not to bother about the little bumps along the way as long as the final outcome is right for me, and it was. Great work team thanks for your support during the whole installation journey.

Kathy came to my house to discuss Instyle Solar's product. I was hesitant at first but after she went through all the statistics and calculations on what the average person in Queensland is producing with a 6kWh and 10kWh system, I was more convinced about saving money. Both looked promising and I decided to go for the 6.6kWh system. Kathy has been supportive throughout the whole experience and easy to access via mobile. She even made time to speak to my father who I get most of my feedback and opinions from.

Installation day was relatively smooth except for the late arrival. Ben and his team were expected at 7.30AM but called to say he wouldn't be around until 1PM or later. Inconvenient, especially for those who take time off work specifically for the appointment, but Ben explained they were waylaid outside of Townsville by another job. I also had the day off so no issues for me. The job was completed between 4 and 5pm. Ben went through the basics of the system, including the Solar Analytics, the hot water system, when to use my power more often (i.e. day time) and how to safely turn off the system in case of an emergency.

I have since been using the Solar Analytics to monitor my progress which has been informative on how and when I am using electricity, including when I draw from the grid. This helps me better plan my power usage through the week.

Overall, the panel system and inverter (AC/DC) are a bit more expensive than similar systems with other companies ($4000-$5000), however the process has been smooth so far. The quality of the product, the installation and the support ongoing appears to be the difference between Instyle Solar and the rest.

Review of bill and savings, as well as ongoing function.

I was initially hesitant about getting solar but thought I would just get some information about it all. We met with Kathy and she took the time to explain how it all worked and what savings we could make. She answered all our questions and alleviated any concerns we had. Their whole team is very professional and helpful, and they do not hesitate in answering any questions even after the job has been completed. I would also like to give a shout out to the installation guys as they were fantastic and did a fabulous job. We honestly would have no hesitations in recommending the Instyle Solar team to anyone, in fact have I referred my brother to them, and he too has had them install a system for his place.

Instyle Solar made the whole process quick, easy and stress free. Kathy was very informative and made the process so easy for us. Extremely happy with the professional service and the product.

My fantastic and highly productive Solar System (6.5 KW) installed in 2019 by Instyle Solar with Administrator Dave and Technician Trent responsible for making it all happen together with the installation of the new and comprehensive mobile phone application for ongoing monitoring of periodical energy production. We did a 5 kWp solar system installation through Instyle Solar and the whole process was finished in a week! We are extremely happy with their service. Bryan Adams (our salesperson) was very patient and happy to answer any questions we had regarding the specifics of the solar system. We also had a very positive experience with the team that did the installation. Ron, Candy, Nathaniel, and Declan were all very friendly, efficient, and thorough! After the installation they were kind enough to come back on a separate day to show us how to monitor the system and explained how to get the most out of our system. Overall we had an extremely positive experience with Instyle Solar from start to finish!

Instyle Solar were very helpful in explaining matters and relevant information.
