Terrible to deal with
Terrible to deal with. We had a flood from tenants in the condo above us that ended up being over $62,000.00. Of course I had to pay the deductible before they would do anything. They said they would go after the people who caused the damage and eventually after quite a few months, said it wasn’t worth it. It ended up going against my insurance and now they tell me they won’t be renewing my policy when it expires! Please don’t make the mistake of having them as your provider!! I don’t remember the exact date of the claim, but it was during the heat dome and covid. It wouldn’t let me post because it was more than 2 months ago
Terrible company
Terrible company - commercially insured. BIG mistake. A small claim took over 10 months to finish. The adjuster had no clue what they were doing and really could not care at all. Tenant was out of business for MONTHS when all that was needed to be done was replace glass. We had to spend hours constantly chasing them to just to get yanked around and everything drawn out to extreme lengths. No excuse for this poor service. YES this is a SERVICE industry. They do not know the meaning of the word or the industry they are in.

Hi. I would like to comment on your TV Commercial. I have lived in Ontario Canada for most of my life. I didn't know until i seen your new Commercial that distracted driving was legal here in Ontario. The mom on her way to pick up her daughter from her hockey game. Driving down the street with the music cranked up, singing and dancing while she drives down a street full of people.
I am glad to know that if I do the same and kill or hurt someone or cause property damage, that Intact Insurance will back me up 100%.

AWFUL COMPANY
AWFUL COMPANY, i am currently looking for a new insurance company. Ive been waiting to hear back from some one about a no fault accident. I made the mistake of calling in today. I was unfortunate enough to have to talk to a Jasmine Hermadad. i was told that i was not allowed to speak to a supervisor, i said no. She then said that there are no supervisoror managers and that she would terminate that call if i didnt say please and thank you.

Fantastic company if you just want them to take your money and never need to make a claim. If you need to make a claim, good luck. I’m currently in a lawsuit with them over a claim that the took from September 2020 until February 2022 to make a decision on, and I’ve been trying to advocate for my dad for a claim that he made 2 month ago without so much as acknowledgment from intact so far. We have been unable to reach his adjuster or manager, or receive a call back, despite spending hours calling around and sitting on hold. The only thing they do well is take your money, and they even do it after it is literally illegal for them to continue to do.

If i could give no stars I would. I have been a loyal client since I began driving, and the price of my monthly payment has only been going UP. I have had one minor instance before it went downhill. The first one was fine, nothing major that I noticed and I was completely at fault. Second time, I was not at fault and its been going on 6 months of poor communication and no guidance whatsoever. They emailed and told me they could not open a second claim without my consent, but then proceeded to do it anyway. When I questioned them they sent a response without really responding and no real explanation. I have had others have similar experiences with INTACT specifically, and I am just fed up with this entire experience.

My car was badly damaged in a 'hit-and-run,' on December 02, 2024. The car was towed to a garage the following day. From what I found out, the garage transmitted the repair information on Dec 04. BUT; 3 weeks latter, Intact told me that they had never recieved it. My claim adjuster 'Mme. Claudia Thibault' never returns my phone calls, and the cellphone app, does not keep you up to date.

Absolutely the worst insurance company. They cancelled my insurance because I was not able to answer their phone calls as they were trying to get a hold of me during my work hours. Although I talked to them several times they kept harassing me on the phone after dealing with myclaim. I feel the same if I had to give Intact a zero I would they have been utterly the worst Insurance company I have had to deal with in my 30 years, Hail claim on my property and the issue the funds to my mortgage company how does this make any sense, I pay insurance that is my money and they decide how its issued is absolute BS. I will make sure I cancel and find a new company any others have not had to experience this on a hail claim. Almost 4 months since the initial claim and I have made to many calls to count on how this is to be settled.

An organization that lacks humanity, compassion, empathy. Over the course of several months I have had financial difficulty BUT have always paid my insurance through rescheduling the date, with advance notice. Instead of adding a second payment to the PAYMENT DATE, they opted to take out a payment two weeks after the one payment and then two weeks after again, so in 4 weeks, i. would have made THREE PAYMENTS. but they also cancelled my $25.00 tenants insurance and instead of waiting for my payday which doesn't correspond with intact's pay day scheDULE, they sent MY NAME TO COLLECTIONS, FOR $65.00 WITHOUT EVEN SENDING ME A BILL, or CALLING TO TALK TO ME, EVEN THANKING ME FOR BEING A CLIENT IN THAT SHORT TIME. NOT THEY MADE IT SEEM LIKE THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOUR.
THEY DIDN'T CALL ME TO SAY IT WAS CANCELLED AND EVEN AN "WE ARE SORRY AND THE BALANCE OWED IS THIS, IF YOU CAN PAY IT WHEN YOU CAN." Worst insurance company . There is a reason why its rate on reviews very low . I would give zero if I could . We made a claim for our house because there was a leak from AC . They denied our claim first time , we repaired it from our pockets . The problem happened again . They approved it and sent inspector and everything was valid and document enter . “I am beyond disappointed with the service I received from TD Insurance. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare, marked by disrespect, inefficiency, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The service team repeatedly put me on lengthy holds, only to disconnect abruptly multiple times without resolving any of my concerns. I spent hours trying to get help, only to feel increasingly frustrated and mentally exhausted. The way they handled my case felt like mental harassment, as though they had no interest in actually providing any meaningful support.
Adding to the frustration was TD Insurance’s virtual assistant, which is one of the worst I’ve encountered. It took forever to connect me with a real advisor, with endless prompts and no clear way to reach a human representative. I felt trapped in an endless loop, waiting for basic assistance and struggling to get past the virtual assistant, which only added to my stress and frustration.
The situation worsened when I finally reached a supervisor named Sandeep, whose behavior was shockingly unprofessional. Rather than listening to my issues or offering any solutions, Sandeep displayed a narcissistic attitude, treating my concerns as insignificant and showing zero empathy. His demeanor was dismissive and overbearing, as though he was more focused on asserting authority than helping a customer in distress. It felt like I was being treated as a nuisance rather than a valued client. This behavior is not just poor customer service; it is downright disrespectful and unkind.
It’s clear to me that TD Insurance lacks both effective customer service policies and competent leadership, leaving customers vulnerable to poor treatment without recourse. I am sharing this experience to warn others: if you value your time, mental well-being, and expect to be treated with respect, avoid TD Insurance at all costs. There are many other insurance providers who actually prioritize their customers and offer the support and respect that TD seems to neglect. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any company, and I hope this review helps others reconsider before choosing TD Insurance.”

They suck you mentally and back to back calls and i jad a horrible manager so sucks and bad her name Caroline harper useless and she has no idea what to do .and want ya to be just.
