I typically research reviews before buying from any company on line, but I did not on Intimissimi because they looked totally legit - in hindsight, I should have.

Very disappointing experience with Intimissimi.
To be clear, the products did not arrive defective. However, after being worn only a few times, the pyjamas started to fall apart. Seams unraveled, threads came loose, and the overall finishing is extremely poor.
The fabric feels weak and cheap, and the workmanship honestly looks like it was made in a backyard factory, not by a brand that presents itself as premium.
After checking Google reviews, I noticed many customers reporting the same problems:
poor durability, seams opening after minimal use, and a clear decline in quality.
For the price charged, this level of quality is unacceptable. Intimissimi seriously needs to improve its quality control.
Unreliable online shop
Probably one of the most slow and unreliable online services I have ever experienced.
I purchased some products that never arrived, I try to find a email or somewhere on the website to help me with my orders and there wasn’t information available. I have to contact with them in instagram, after this I got an automatic response that there were investigated where my order was, a month later and despite I emailed them I never has an answer. I have to contacting them through instagram again and now they said they will send me a refund but it will take 14 days after receiving my order that was in some wherehouse. So it will take over TWO MONTHS to get the money back….

Never order through the Portuguese website! I have been waiting for 2 days now for them to pick up a return and they can't guarantee when it will be done. Also another order which I have paid for is waiting to be confirmed and hasn't been shipped although it has been multiple days already. Terrible service from what's supposed to be a reputable brand. Will never buy their products again.
After seeing their latest advert
After seeing their latest advert, I was disappointed by their unrealistic portrayal of women. To set the scene, they had very slim bodies, larger chests (zoomed in on quite dramatically), which overall is a very narrow version of what women look like in the UK. While this kind of imagery has sadly become common, it was pairing it with the tagline “give the gift of beauty” that felt so outdated and just patronising. It completely reinforces the idea that 'beauty' equals perfectly sculpted bodies on a level I haven't seen in some time. Uncreative and unnecessary. Your marketing dept needs a reality check on what's important to women nowadays. Move on.
Incompetent Sizing
The employees at the store do NOT know how to size people correctly.
For context, I went on Xmas Eve, so I was fully prepared to wait and to not be seen immediately, so I didn’t have an issue with the service at that point. But the bra size I was last time I got fitted at a different place was 38D. I have lost some weight since then so I knew for a fact the band size was smaller at the very least. When I went to get sized, she didn’t even ask me to take my sweater off, she just wrapped the tape measure around for a sec and then said you’re probably around a 38D or 40C. I was like there’s absolutely no way, but that’s all I went in there for so I left after that. Later I went and got sized correctly at Nordstrom and they confirmed I was now a 36DD. That is an insane difference, and a store that allegedly specializes in bras and intimates should know what they’re doing, arguably moreso than a department store.
Another thing I noticed was that they had bras for larger breasts, but their clothing like robes and tops didn’t come any bigger than a large?? Doesn’t make any sense. I’d never buy anything from there based on this experience alone, they clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Bras are terrible, wear down and lose their shape after only a few wash. Customers service is also pretty bad, lack knowledge of their own products and patience trying to understand customers needs. Wouldn’t recommend.

Quality of fabric is very low. Salespeople are not supportive and they showed me a negative reaction and attitude when they realized that I wanted to return my order. They have a lot of issues with their computer system and do not guide you correctly during the change or return process that in my case led to not refunding me my money but giving a store credit instead , due to a change in their refund policies that they said even the salesperson did not know it has changed.

Worst customer support I have ever experienced. Top took over a week to ship and another week to arrive. When it arrived package had been opened and nothing inside. Still waiting to hear back from customer support for refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Returning is such a nightmare
Returning is such a nightmare. It says on the website that it can be picked up at your address. Come to find out you have to call or figure it out with PostNord. Additionally the label to print out has not been sent yet despite waiting 30 minutes. It is such an outdated process where you have to print out the label and call for pick up
The worst online experience
During the payment process, my old address was auto-filled by mistake. I have contacted the five times about this issue, yet at no stage was I allowed to change or correct the address, even though I reached out immediately.
I also contacted Royal Mail, but due to security reasons they informed me that they cannot change the delivery address.
Their colleague (Dorotte or similar name) previously assured me that the parcel would not be delivered to the old address and that it would be returned to sender.
I specifically warned her that someone might open the communal door and the parcel could still be delivered successfully which is exactly what happened.

Very bad service. They say: buy 3, get 1 extra, but when you exchange one for another color you have to pay 10€ extra because the deal doesn’t count anymore. The saleswoman in the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam (the one with the nose piercing) is really rude and unfriendly. Don’t buy there!

I shopped at this store. In addition to their professional experience, their communication skills are also excellent. If you have any problems finding a bra that fits your bust size, They are all very helpful and attentive, showing you all the options. If necessary, they will show you all the suitable options without getting bored or overwhelming you, even if you try on 20-30 bras. I couldn't have been so patient if I were an employee instead of a customer. Then I wanted to look at the reviews, and it really makes you sad to read them... Some mentioned not being able to speak English, some wrote negative reviews because they didn't get their money back, and some vented their anger because they couldn't get tax-free. When I first entered the shop, I asked if the products could be tried on because the shop looked so high-quality and beautiful that I felt the need to ask.After trying a few products, I even asked about the exchange procedure in case they didn't work out. They explained the exchange and return process for all products to me, and yes, there are no money refunds. This is not something the staff can decide on their own initiative; even if the store manager came, they couldn't do it due to company policy. Instead, they offer gift cards and exchanges. This is quite reasonable. As for their English, I also speak and work in a different language in another country, and that's not shameful or something to be criticised. In fact, I admire them for their determination; they try to communicate with you and help you. They all have their own struggles in life, and it doesn't sit right with my conscience to say they don't know enough English. They have determination and are trying their best. I see that, and whenever you need something, they are happy to help you whenever you ask. It's not just one person; the other staff members there are also trying to help you if their colleagues are looking for a product for you. When people behave badly, they act with the mindset that if they don't cause problems, they won't get what they want. You may be the 20th or 50th customer of any employee working there, but I don't think we show half the patience that they show us,to our own families and friends at home.
No packaging, looks like bargain basement gifts
When my order roved (4 pairs men’s pants) I was shocked. For £19 I expected them to arrive with each pair boxed. What I got was 3 pairs individually within a very thin plastic bag & the 4th in no packaging at all!!! I could have bought pants from a supermarket better packaged. I do not want to give these as gifts as they look bargain basement gifts. I will be retuning all items, despite NOT being able to access the returns form you are supposed to fill in. What a difficult company to deal with.
So wish I had read reviews before ordering. Never again.
Also plastic is not environmentally friendly either.

Worst written reply from a customer service agent I've gotten
I am a regular customer and my experience with the products has been good (there are a couple of t-shirts and tanks that I bought that have had a weird smell I cannot get rid of, but this review is not about this as I am satisfied with most of the items I've purchased from this brand).
I recently placed an order required for my upcoming holiday well in advance and in realizing it had not been delivered, I checked the tracking and noticed something was off. I had to go out of my way and email the customer service team (which took about 24 hours to reply to me in a quiet season for retail) to inform them of this. They simply wrote to me the order was being brought back to the sender over a technical issue. I was not given any compensation or apologies for this. In fact, the email thread was immediately closed after this reply, making me unable to directly communicate again with the agent without opening a new thread or chat.
As I am in need of the clothes, I placed an order again about 24 h ago, for which I have not received any confirmation via email even though the payment was successfully taken and an order number has been generated. The only reason I have re-ordered is that I am familiar and satisfied with the products, but I might need to explore other brands...
It is clear the website needs some work and the customer service department must be reshuffled.
