I stayed at Alexandra House for a year and wanted to extend my sincere gratitude to one of your staff members, Harrison Banks (Sheffield), who went above and beyond during my stay.
Harrison’s approach to his role stood out in the most meaningful way. He listens attentively and takes the time to fully understand any issues or concerns — even when they’re raised with frustration — and responds with calm, respect, and empathy. His diligence, kindness, and professionalism truly made my stay more comfortable and significantly improved my overall experience.

Disappointing Experience
The service has been very unprofessional and disappointing. I would not recommend this agency unless they improve their communication, take responsibility for their mistakes and resolve maintenance issues more quickly.
Absolutely amazing management company
Absolutely amazing management company, I dealt with Naomi, Harrison and Caitlin and all three were fantastic. I was new to renting and they set up alerts for a building i was interested in, answered all my questions and were just amazing in general. The flat was in perfect condition and when there was a small issue (not their fault) just after moving in they had it sorted asap. Thank you so much ☺️
Excellent Lettings Experience from Start to Finish
I’ve had a really great experience with Intus Lettings. From the very beginning, everything has been smooth and stress-free. The moving-in process was handled seamlessly, and any questions or paperwork were sorted in a very timely manner.
What made the experience great was the clear communication and efficiency — nothing ever felt complicated or drawn out, which made the whole process much easier. The team has been friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any queries.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Intus Lettings to anyone looking for a smooth and positive rental experience.

The letting agents were really helpful from the viewing to the move-in day. They made the necessary adjustments where possible to ensure that I could rent my current apartment.

Awful property, not fit for purpose. Dangerous, damp, mouldy. Fire brigade instructions- not carried out. Gas safety check - not carried out 2024, landlord advised then to ‘leave’, my flat.

Landlord expects tenants to phone him directly, about repairs, not go through Intus, thus ; no paper trail, and they can deny you ever reported anything.
I experienced this, when the shower and toilet from the flat above, constantly. were leaking into my property. My sitting room. This ,is unsanitary, like a 3rd world set up.
It was leaking when my dad lived in it, 2022. They denied any reports were made. I kept evidence.

This industry is still not making these landlords, accountable.
I took over the tenancy, from my late father who died in 2022.
I hated it , and applied back in my hometown after 2 months. I don’t know how he is allowed to rent the place out? You can’t sit properly on the toilet, it is so close to the wall.
I eventually got another property, after a long and depressing wait, in March 2024. In my hometown, overjoyed, I put in my four weeks notice.
This is when their true characters and deceitful business practices came to light for me.
My dad lived in the flat up until his death in 2022, I took over the tenancy.
As the deposit from my late father was on this property, it clearly states on my tenancy agreement that they would sign the deposit over into my name.
They had not even done this. Instead of being truthful, they were demanding to know who had probate, who were the executors of my father’s will.
I explained ; his solicitor did not deem probate necessary in my dad’s case.
They kept on with their demands, my dad has been dead 18 months, what kind of a set up is this ?
No apology, just a yapping, like a little dog, of a woman, demanding to know about probate,, for my father and who the executors, are, her manner is disgusting. it is frankly, none of her business.
She then told me my father had other money on the account. This was also puzzling as this surely should have been tied up, and dealt with at the time of his death. The e-mail was recalled, stating this, I managed to get a copy in time.
This money, not withstanding the deposit of £375, is very suspicious, to the family.
I provided the information requested. They keep requesting my bank details, I give them my bank details, they just keep saying they are wrong. They are clearly now withholding monies.,
They won’t tell me, how much, why they have my father’s money, where they have got it from? It is theft now, plain and simple, I will be informing, Lancashire Police a
It is as though, they think, they are doing one a favour, by renting their hovels,It is totally abuse of power.
You are already down on your luck, if you end up, or even consider such a place. The staff treat you like something off their shoe, the landlord, comes round in awful moods, he once squared up to me, a lone female, 5ft 4”.

Even more suspicious, is that someone did telephone me, claiming to be from The Deposit Protection Service( back in 2022.
As I was vulnerable, after just loosing my father, & living in a new town, I trusted this was the D.P.S, I was speaking to, they asked if they could pass me onto a sister company, an insurance firm. I said yes, I paid £245 insurance for the year.
I contacted the D.P.S this year because, of Intus making a fuss, to me seemingly, about nothing, alleged to have. They told me in no uncertain terms, there was no way they would pass clients on to an insurance company. S
The insurance company did not reply, when I tried to make a claim for my phone, damaged by toilet and shower water leaking on to it.
No one responded.
They also said ( ins company) I had ti be insured against accidental damage to the property
It is disgusting that , shower and toilet water leak into the sitting room. The shower from upstairs is causing the ceiling to bow. The landlord & agency do not care.
I have kept evidence of every thing, including my skin getting infected, constantly.
Steer well clear.. Would not put the heating on, that he controls, over the winter period of 2022, it’s part of our rental agreement.
He blamed me for this, saying I was leaving the communal door open. The communal door was always open, when I first went to the flat, to visit my dad.

The landlord came storming into my flat, aggressively, I reported this to Intus, asked if they could accompany him on visits as I felt alarmed by his behaviour. I was ignored.
A great team
I own a property in Salford that Intus took over the management of in November. I had a serious problem with non-paying tenants. The Intus team of Katie, Laura and Dragos have quickly turned the problem around. The non-paying tenants have gone and new tenants have been arranged. The money owed by these tenants has been partially recovered and the balance still outstanding is well on the way to being recovered.
I have had a lot of dealings with these three understandably since November and not once have I had anything other than friendly and co-operative communications with them. The advice that they have given me to tackle the problems I have faced has been both sound and effective. I can’t sing their praises loud enough.
Worst company about
Worst company about. Deflect blame on to everyone else, constant lies, broke the tenancy agreement after less than a week.
Insult you with outrageous resolutions to situations as they don’t seem to have the brain power to actually sort anything out.
If your looking for a company who don’t give a s**t about your car being locked in a car park for 4 days when you need it for work, after repeatedly lying about fobs for gate ( and building door) saying the don’t exist, and also providing an ‘unfurnished apartment’ but leaving a 2001 30KG Sanyo tv in the living room, then refusing to remove it, as well as not being aware or being able to find out the code for the door to access the building and telling us to “ring every other flat until you gain access” this is the company for you!

Myself and my new Wife had the best experience with this agency. We met a wonderful woman called Sarah, we arranged a viewing, this was the best viewing we had. Sarah didn't rush us, and this allowed us time to see this as a home. Sarah was very friendly, professional, and answered any questions we had with ease. Her friendly nature allowed us to feel so relaxed. Intus Lettings this lady is an absolute credit to you. Communication from start to finish was amazing with her. When we picked up the keys to our new home we were even given a welcome box. Best agency by far. Sarah thank you very very much.

From start to finish of my 8 years tenancy I have had nothing but issues with this company. They expect you to drop everything so they can come inspect or send someone to do a boiler inspection with 24 hour notice! Even less sometimes. If you are unable to be available to their beck and call then they start threatening you that they will use their management key and let themselves in. They are great at ignoring any issue or problems at the property unless it suits them. I would ask anyone concidering renting a property through them to think twice about it. They don't follow legal safety rules regarding HMOs even 7 years after the local council told them they need a fire door at the entrance to an upstairs property, same goes for the locks not being upto fire regs. The list would be never ending if I were to put down all of the terrible experiences I have had with this company. I'm hoping to move shortly and I will not be sad to see the back of intus.

My two years child developed cold in that apartment.
Despite the heating was bad, they kept on increasing the house rent.
