Moved our group SIPP to InvestAcc from another SIPP provider. Been a breath of fresh air... personal relationships with both property and benefits teams along with a simple clear fee structure. Both of which were sadly lacking at our previous company.
Throughout the process of of opening the SIPP and making investments the service I have received from everyone across departments has been excellent. They responded very quickly to questions and provided knowledgeable answers.
Extremely poor administration
Dealing with transfer delayed the process by weeks resulting in over £6,000 loss of investment. Even though they were aware of complaint about delay then went on to transfer the pension by the slowest method available delaying transfer by a further week.
Complaint was not fully investigated. Worryingly the managing director Mr Gardner does not even respond to my emails. They have also failed to respond to a formal letter before action which is a legal requirement under the court protocol. If you look at the Financial Ombudsman website you will see many complaints dealing with delayed transfers by this company. The FOS is part funded by Investacc so don’t go down that route - see thousands of FOS 1* reviews- 90% 1 star. Hence better off taking legal action
