Great course
So far this course has given me some great insight into how to use my camera properly. I like the way the instructor explains things

iphotography is great
Interesting, informative and in depth modules that I can take at my own pace. Easy to use website. Regular quizzes and end of module tests to check progress. Encouragement and support from both tutors and members via the gallery. I'm really enjoying the course and getting out with the camera far more now.
Salford Photo Walk with Stephen
I did the Salford Photo Walk recently with Stephen and a small group of other photographers. Having only bought my first camera a couple of months ago, and so relatively inexperienced, I was quite apprehensive - but the walk was great! Stephen shared lots of tips on setting up the camera and photo composition. Because group members all had different levels of expertise, we all got individual attention and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. It was a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
The walk was followed-up by an online editing session, which was also very helpful as it has got me off to an excellent start on Lightroom.
I'd definitely recommend the IPhotography Photo Walks, and I'll be keeping my eye open for new ones!
A great day full of hints and tips
A great day out full of hints and tips throughout the day.
Explanations of how a particular angle would work and in what context.
Followed up with a great editing session where I learned so much about Luminar Neo

Very professional on-line modules
I have started the Landscape course and surprised what good value for money it is and how much I learn in each module, plenty of examples and not too lengthy for busy people. Love the encouragement feedback from iphotography community members and sharing images. Makes courses that are on-line feel face-face.Competitions keep me encouraged to practice more.

Really great course for beginner…
Really great course for beginner photographers. Stephen and the gang are really great at explaining different functions of the camera and different techniques, and you really feel like you get to know them through the course. The modules are well thought out, and in a good order. One thing I found was that on occasions I would be practising taking pictures, but sometimes the modules didn't exactly cover what the best setting would be for different environments e.g. in the dark at night. However this was not a common problem. Finally, I did notice lots of small spelling and grammatical errors throughout the course, but apart from that I'm really glad I chose to do this course for my DofE skill! (No chasing up an assessors report either, came through shortly after completion which is great)
Batsford Arboretum Photography Walkabout
I recently did a Photography Walkabout at Batsford Arboretum and had an informative and enjoyable day. Stephen, our instructor was always available to offer help and I'm sure that everybody regardless of experience learnt something new. Many of the other people had done previous photography days and I will definitely be booking another one in the future.
Great for Beginners and amateurs!
My background experience with photography is 4 years of college level classes I took in high school. I took this course to refresh my photography knowledge and it has been such a help! I feel reinvigorated and motivated in ways I wasn’t even in the past. The modules are fun and easy to understand, and I love that they mix videos with the lessons to really help you grasp the concept. I also think it’s great that you get the ability to critique and get critiqued on the gallery, which I feel is super important for any photographer! Stephen and the other instructors do a great job making it so welcoming. I recommend this for any beginner or even amateur photographer!
The course is very well done and it has…great content laid out very well to enhance the learning.
The course is very well done and it has tought me alot. The only thing i can see being beneficial is having more printable key items that we could download and put into a binder. Otherwise I love the course.
A reluctant last resort due to no communication
UPDATED REVIEW FOLLOWING MISLEADING COMMENTS IN THE REPLY.
Before posting the original review i e-mailed their support Multiple times when finding out my membership had been blocked asking the simple question of why? But no common courtesy of an answer and in the last one i did say if i did not receive an answer as to why i would have to do something i do not want to and that is leave this review.
I have since seeing their review asked for a meeting to discuss their and my review and i will delete all the review. I am a firm believer in talking to settle a dispute rather than mis-read into written words. But no reply so i will correct their misleading reply here.
Their Paragraph One.
They now say i was removed due to overly critical and hurtful remarks to fellow students!!! All rubbish as i have only ever tried to give constructive critique to fellow students, many various ones have done re-edits naming and thanking me. Regarding Hostility to members of the team, no hostility towards them, frustration at no reply maybe but that is to the one leading it after all it's gone on over 2 years, in that time i asked Multiple times for a meeting to discuss the agenda towards me.
Paragraph 3
For first time in their History of 10 yrs ( i have been a member half of that) they have received Multiple complaints about me, students confidence shot to pieces because of my negative remarks!!!! The only one who's confidence has been shot to pieces by negative remarks-actions as stated in my original review is ME. Warning for uploading a Food photograph being told i had broken these imaginary rules when i asked multiple times what rule is that i would never deliberately break a rule - yes no reply (irony they now have a food tutor) and that was the start of the agenda.
Paragraph 5
Multiple polite warnings ??? Negativity towards iPhotography?? no negativity just frustration to their actions towards me and the unwillingness to talk about it which hit my self belief in my photography at a stressful time in my life where nothing is going right since late 2019-early 2020.. No negativity to other students some who are friends whatsoever. It's a manufactured misleading comment if i had i do not think i would of had the highest 5* ratings and praise on a photo for November from fellow students. As for the team i don't know them to have any hostility towards them and i am not that kind of a person that has been painted here.
As for contacting some other students yes i did! but that was a few days after they blocked my account to let the friends know i had been blocked as i asked the company multiple times why with no answer. So told those friends that i did not know officially why and asked some of those friends to say goodbye for me to other friends i had in iP.
Finally i wish iPhotography as a business, students or member of their team no harm and this maybe is my unique experience. I have deleted the final paragraph of the original and will delete it all if as requested multiple times someone at the company is willing to have a meeting to discuss this.
MY ORIGINAL REVIEW >
I have been a loyal member 5yrs, In February 2020 I gave this company iPhotography a glowing recommendation when being one of the first to join their plus platform, at the beginning things were looking promising as it was more in depth than the basic training at a premium cost, unfortunately things started to go sour when receiving an official warning for uploading a food photograph, then it basically went down hill from then on and I was removed from their plus platform which is run by the head tutor who’s idea the platform was, unfortunately the platform being a Facebook group became a bit of a clique and a case of favouritism took over. They have a photograph of the day 3 days a week and a weekend challenge open to everyone which is good. Students as well as tutors can leave critique on Photo's, since my removal from plus over 2 yrs ago I have never been considered for any of them and only received 3 head tutor comments in 2 years. In November this year I had the highest 5 stars from students no tutors comments or ratings unlike the rest of those with high scores, it wasn’t unexpected by me but I do find it childish and an on going thing for over 2 yrs. Then out of the blue with no communication from them my account looked like it had been hacked and 5 yrs of photos deleted but it’s a case of they blocked my account no communication or reason given. But the real reason is the head tutor did not want me to show up his negative agenda towards me by letting me win it…. I have over 2 years asked the company several times for a meeting to get to the bottom of this agenda towards me, but the requests are ignored… I could say a lot more but it would be enough to write a book……

This is a great forum for photographers.
This is a great forum for learning both from tutors and similar likeminded photographers improving their skills from beginner onwards. Iphotography provides a great selection of useful elearning courses and resources. I can thoroughly recommend. It is worthwhile to take a look on what is offered.
Amazing Course!
It was a great course! Really easy to understand and went into depth about many areas of photography and editing. Highly recommend.
Great day on our IPhotography walk…
Great day on our IPhotography walk about in Hyde Park London on Tuesday 4th October. It was great meeting the other students as well as Emily and Stephen, our tutors.
Nice to put a face to a name. Very relaxed, and a chance to ask a few questions, and learn a few tips, as well as obviously taking lots of shots……
Thank you all concerned
An experience to be recommended
Good balance of freedom to try what I wanted yet also availability of idea for both creativity and technique if desired.
Perhaps the biggest plus was the facilitated conversations with fellow attenders - on a variety of topics not just photography! :)
Recommended - well worth the price.

I have completed the 30 day course and really enjoyed it and have moved on to the full photography course
A course to teach you how to take photos you are proud of
Photography has always been something that has got my interest but I always felt that there was so much to learn in order to take the photos that I wanted to shoot. The iPhotography course is brilliant at breaking down all the technical areas bit by bit and equips you with all the skills needed to be able to take photos of whatever genre you choose. Also as it’s online with lifetime access you can go back as often as you need to remind yourself of all the techniques. I absolutely loved it, and dare I say can now take some photos that I am proud of. I have also signed up to several of the other more specialised courses which I am hugely enjoying so far. Fully recommend to everyone interested in photography.
