Good Perspective

It provides a good background and insight into photography but sometimes the on-line experience is limited and could do with a bit more interaction aside from the optional assignments, maybe something more like the last modules which have videos.

As many videos on You Tube are readily available, something like this in a teaching format would be more ideal as opposed to searching for videos that contradict each other or give their own input.

Also not everyone will have Photoshop, so maybe discoutns off products and a separate course material into editing would be ideal.

A more interactive experience would bring a better appeal as at present it would attract those who would like to get into photography.

From my own personal experience, I had played around with manual settings and went to family functions and outdoor experiences which gave a more grounded perspective.

I understand how my camera works and can now take great pictures and edit them

This diploma covered everything, how your camera works, the different types of photographs you can take - I only had one aim to take landscape/nature pictures but enjoyed the module on abstract photography so much I now do that as well as landscapes and nature photo's. The elements of the course on portraits I struggled to concentrate on as its something I have no interest in. The two end modules were great learning how to get the best from elements and really make your pictures look even better. The modules don't take forever to complete so you stay interested and there is just enough information in each module to take in without bombarding you with information. The modules are easy to understand and very well explained. I loved it.

Learn at your pace, not in the race.....

Awesome program! I am a mother of 3 children with a husband whom works a lot of hours so that I can stay home with the kids. Going to school is not an option right now, so the online at your own pace program is a great way for me to continue my passion for photography! I usually try to do some work while everyone is sleeping.
Thank you iPhotography for making this possible, for helping my dream of being a successful photographer someday get even closer.

Awesome!....But what about some videos?!

This course has been amazing and eye opening. As a photographer working towards a professional career and business the formation and pearls of wisdom given has been indeed priceless. Not to technical that it's over my head and not to simplistic that I can't "talk shop" with other photographers and camera merchants. This program has helped open up a new door for me a new opportunity use gifts and talents that God has blessed me with to provide for my family.......thank you all so very much. Some videos of instruction or videos of demonstrations would be extremely helpful. It would help break up a bit of the monotony of going through the slides, maybe at the very least some read along audio of the course being narrated of sorts. Thanx!
