SCAMMERS
They charged me over £40 for a subscription that I did not consent too or was even made aware about. You had to tick a box to agree to being put on a subscription. I did NOT click this it was meant to be a free test in the first place but then required 50p to get the results and then to top it all off any emails I send just get returned to sender so I have no way of getting them to refund me so I'm now having to dispute it through my bank.

Do not take any test in their platform. They charge £0.50 for the results of the test but then they charge you with £49.70 monthly subscription, even if you haven't ticked the appropriate box under terms and conditions. I read the small letters, didn't consent for a monthly subscription, as I didn't need it, and ended charged with a monthly subscription. I "unsubscribed" immediately and send them an email for a refund. Their reply so far is stating the obvious- that this is our way of working and we state it in our payment page. Only I didn't check the box, so they're pretty scummy.

Fell for the scam

Just found out now that they have been drawing €50 for the past 8 months. Thought I bought a single iq test result as advertised, and had no idea I signed up for a subscription. Nowhere did they mention that clearly.

Unreliable company

Unreliable company. I only wanted to take a short test worth €0.50. Then €49.50 was deducted from my account because the small print stated that I had to cancel a contract I knew nothing about within 24 hours.

I’ve had many apps and trials and all of them display clearly the trial period and the subscription amount that follows afterwards .
This tricky service doesn’t display anything on the page,only amount for the test. I’ll repeat myself,wanted to do a test and there were price displayed 0,50p and NOTHING ELSE!

I have received an email and there was stated my login and password and down there with small letters,making sure most people won’t notice was the info about subscription
So legally I believe they covered themselves as the info was provided but is dirty game as they didn’t display the price on the webpage to be clearly seen

I googled for a free personality test, and this scam popped up as "MBTI test free". After i wasted my time to answer all these ridicolous questions one by one, these scammers tried to ask money for the results of the "FREE" test.

Waste of time

iqboost.co is a waste of time, don't use it. They don't write anything about costs.
You can start a personality test, spend some minutes answering a lot of questions. Then instead of showing a result, they ask you for your e-mail address. Ok, give them a one-time use one. Next step, still no result but now they ask you to pay 0.50. No word about any payment when the test was starting. So that's the point when you realise that you just wasted 10 minutes of your life.

I'd never pay that 0.50 because they were not honest beforehand. I don't know what would happen next, but as others wrote here on Trustpilot, I can absolutely imagine that they trick you into a subscription that you never wanted.

So do yourself a favor and avoid such webpages, they are not honest.

Lie about being free

In google search it was shown as a free personality type test. After spending my time on doing the test - I was brought to payment window with 24 hour 0.5 € trial and then monthly membership (for those who forget to cancel it). So this site lies on it's meta description. Worth not more than 1 star for it.

Reply to the reply from iqboostsl: confusion is not by accident but by intent on your side. I now this type of business. You earn on people not canceling the trial period.

0,50€ IQ-test ended up costing 100€

I used 0,50 € on an IQ-test on June 30th. This IQ-test eventually ended up costing me 100 € in total because i was paying for a subscription for two months.

I might need to check my bank statement more thoroughly onwards, and stay away from websites like this one.

My advice to you is to stay away from iqboost.co and stay safe.

FRAUD

They take money from your bank account

They take money from your bank account. Almost 50 euro. This is a fraud. I contacted them and they say that they refunded but they dont. I have spent hours on the phone with the bank and a complaint is filed with the police! Also if you randomly complete the IQ test, it will always say you are with the top smartest, just so you give your bank details for the full report (which is just fake and made up) for 0.5 euro and then 1 day later they take almost 50 euro suddenly!
