The kilt and jacket are prefect and go quite well as an ensemble. The tailoring is quite good and they are designed to last for many years.

I live on the west coast of Florida and wear ripstop kilts every day because they fit my lifestyle and are perfect for the Florida climate. Until now my only ripstop fabric choices were solid color (I spill stuff on myself all the time so not a great choice for me) or jungle camo. After 5 years my jungle camo wore out and am on my second one. I was searching for another ripstop print and blue is my favorite color. So this was my birthday present to myself.

The quality of construction and materials is equal to what I have come to expect when I look for a kilt. I would not hesitate to recommend Ireland kilts to anyone.

My one and only complaint, and this is significant to me, is that the image of the kilt color on their website is not even close to what I received. The website image shows a light blue pattern what I received is a midnight blue. I understand that there can be variations in colors but this was not even close to the image they used.

Never got the kilt or any communication regarding the kilt or request for a refund.

Very nice and helpful ran into a few problems but nothing too bad the outfit was awesome

Terrible experience. I ordered a Prince Charlie outfit from IrelandKilt.com several months ago. I had a tailor take my measurements and sent them ti Irelandkilt.com. The contacted me and told me my measurements were wrong, and they made me change them to suit their requirements. I got the outfit and every aspect of it was wrong — the sleeves of the jacket were way too short, the kilt was 8 inches too long, the belt was too short…EVERYTHING was wrong. I reached out to them about the issues, and their answer was ”Hey, we made everything to the measurements you gave us”. Actually, they made everything to the measurements THEY made me change to. If they had made it to the measurements I ORIGINALLY sent them, the outfit would fit me. As it is, I wasted $350 ! Never again !!!

UPDATE: So, after I posted the above review, Ireland Kilt reached out to me to see if they could “make it right”. I redid the measurements of the jacket (the main problem, here), and sent them in. Several weeks later, i received the new jacket. It fit well, but the lining was coming out of the right sleeve. I took several photos and sent them to Ireland Kilt. They responded and told me there was nothing wrong with the jacket — that I should just shove the lining back up into the sleeve and not worry about it. WRONG! Fortunately I noticed the return address on the package they sent the jacket in, and it was VERY close to my destination for an upcoming trip. So I reached out to the person that had made/sent the jacket to me, and met up with her while on my trip. She saw the problem, took the jacket, made the (much needed) repairs, and I got it back from her on the back-end of my trip as I was returning home.

The bottom line is that I FINALLY ended up with a reasonable solution, but I have to say that I STILL will not be doing business with Ireland Kilt, as they didn’t do the job right the first time, and then when they redid the jacket and it had a major issue, they tried to convince me it did not — VERY bad form for a vendor. The only way it was made right was by me taking charge of the situation, going out of my way to contact the person that actually made the jacket, and getting it repaired on my own. This is NOT the way this should have gone, and I am still not happy with the overall transaction — very poorly done!

Prompt response from customer service, everything came exactly as expected, if not better. Pleasant experience overall. Quality of the kilt and other accessories are amazing. I would recommend irelandkilt.com to anyone looking to purchase a kilt.
