Very pleased with the very helpful tips from Irish Quest! Certainly filled in a lot of blanks for my families lineage, great to work with Irene and her contacts.

It was a very informative presentation. I learned a lot that will help in my research of my Irish ancestors.

I cannot recommend Irish Quest highly enough. Words alone cannot express my happiness and gratitude for my many rewarding interactions since I first began to participate in classes, Q&A's and emails and continue a dialogue, asking questions and reporting challenges and many successes along the way thru my journey to discover my family's past. Briefly, It began for me a few years ago with a few simple questions, all answered perfectly and leading to some progress in my search. Reporting back with new questions yielded more directions and information and so on. Fast forward to 2024 when I visited Ireland again, (I was a clueless tourist the first time) this time armed with a briefcase holding files of notes, maps, a to-do list, addresses and an iPad to communicate in real time with Irene of Irish Quest, check websites and act as my GPS. I ended up having a very emotional and reqarding experience, seeing the home of my GGF, the family farm, their church, their cemetery and ate and drank in the very same pubs they did in their day. It was like stepping into history books and I really didn't want to leave. I was home.
Need less to say I've continued my journey to reach even further back in time and have had more successes since my return. My next trip will include more sites and hopefully siblings and several cousins I've updated along the way and meet some more descendant cousins still living there.
Irene has been an absolutely priceless resource in my journey, then and now, and I highly recommend anyone with any connection to Ireland at all to join her group and learn all about your own history.
Maybe I'll even run into you in an Irish pub some day, enjoying a drink and laughing along with the ghosts of our ancestors. :)

I have been working on finding my Irish Ancestors. I have hit a brick wall. My classes and discussions with Irene have been extremely helpful. She listens to you and gives you realistic suggestions to help you get the information you need, I will continue to follow her sessions. I always gain helpful information for my research.

Irene is a wealth of knowledge about all things Ireland! I had tried for years to find out where in Ireland my family came from, and she was able to narrow it down in a matter of weeks. She is also so helpful with questions about religious practice, land holding, tenancy, and all kinds of Irish traditions. I recommend her course "Back to Beginnings" to get yourself unstuck.
