I had a really cool experience as a student at Ironhack. The topics we covered — from HTML, CSS and JavaScript to full-stack development with React, Node.js and databases — were all super interest... See more

From HR to Tech: My Ironhack Data Analytics Success
Ironhack's Data Analytics program was instrumental in my career transition from Human Resources to the tech industry. The curriculum was both comprehensive and practical, equipping me with the essential skills needed to excel in data analytics. The hands-on projects and expert guidance provided by the instructors made the learning experience incredibly valuable. Thanks to Ironhack, I successfully pivoted to a tech role and am now thriving in a data-driven environment.

Excellent experience with Ironhack PR
I took the 9-week Web Development bootcamp in the Remote US version. I had a lot of experience as Web Developer before the bootcamp but I thought that the bootcamp helped me get better on certain skills and best practices.
The teaching staff was great and I still keep in touch with some of them after 9 months of completing the bootcamp.
The career staff teach you a lot of valuable techniques for the job hunt that were and are still greatly appreciated.
I’m an Industrial Engineer who wanted to make a career change and, in the end, I wanted Ironhack to be a platform that helped me achieve that and I find it did.
I got hired on around 1.5 months after the bootcamp. I met my employers on a live event hosted by Ironhack post-graduation and that made the difference for me.
The job hunt is always going to be hard and is on each one to make it happen. The bootcamp can assist and Ironhack will assist, but in the end if you make it or not relies on you and how much you want it.
Hope this helps and keep on grinding! 🫶🏽

Great team at Ironhack Puerto Rico
I took the Data Analytics bootcamp with Ironhack Puerto Rico and overall I’ve had a positive experience. The content was challenging and I gained a lot of new skills I’ve been able to immediately apply to my career. The teacher and TA were very supportive and knowledgeable.
Post-bootcamp support from the IronhackPR team has been great, they regularly host events and support in the job search. They regularly check in with alumni and the CareerHack content post-bootcamp has helped me completely revamp my job search and networking strategies. In the month and a half since completing bootcamp I’ve already had more interviews than the entire year previous when I was doing things on my own.
I’m glad I took the bootcamp and would recommend it.

Great experience, very attentive staff. Would recomend.
I recently took the fullstack web development alternative from Ironhack Miami. It was a 9 month intensive bootcamp, ranging from February to April 2024, jam-packed with dedicated and attentive staff, fun laboratories and cool projects. Coming from very little coding experience, now I can fully design, develop, and deploy web apps with the MERN stack.
The instructors Daniel and Dustin were always there for us, even after work hours to give us advice and help when we "got stuck" coding. These guys really knew their stuff and gladly taught us what they knew.
Honestly, I would completely recommend this bootcamp to anyone. You definitely learn and acquire a whole toolset. I must say, if you want new skills this is a good option.
Also, to clarify - Ironhack is not a job agency. Finishing the bootcamp does not garantee a job, it is a technical school. They do have career services to provide tools for the jobhunt but it is the individual's responsibility to seek out and apply to opportunities. This disclaimer is important because I've noticed that the other reviews addressed this issue.

Worthless
Feels like a scam. You pay a lot for something you could get out of a YouTube video for free. They are just selling dreams, not actual value.
Don't make the mistake I made.

(Remote UX UI Bootcamp) Challenging course, even with existing design experience
Note: I already had a lot of design experience before undertaking this course, and it was mainly a means of filling in gaps relating specifically to UX design.
The remote instructor (Neil) was great – very attentive and genuinely cared about our learning, development and success.
I can see how the course may be challenging and frustrating for someone with no previous design experience. Spending time completing the pre-work and really understanding the tools in advance would help with this.
I would recommend this course for someone looking to boost their existing knowledge in design. If you're new to digital/visual design, you'll need to be ready to really push through and work very hard (including extra hours).
Also be aware that interpersonal skills are a big part of this course – you'll be working almost exclusively in teams (in groups of 2, or up to 5 people), so being patient and understanding, humble and openminded is a huge part of this.
The course was funded by the Berlin job centre for me, so I didn't have to pay anything myself.

Instructor was often half sleep
UX/UI Remote instructor not only had limited experience working in the United States but gave us TERRIBLE advice about the amount of money we should expect to make and how we "shouldn't waste our time with internships". What?????
Not only was this lady in a different timezone showing up half asleep yawning and apologizing for being so tired after teaching 2 other cohorts (what am I supposed to say that??) but from time to time would even teach/review our work from a hotel bar. I paid $12,000 for this bootcamp and my instructor barely spent any time enforcing best practices as a designer. The curriculum was outdated and the "live teaching" was not worth the price tag.
I basically had to beg her to give me constructive feedback as everything was fine with her. I received 3 "job opportunities" to apply for which did NOT land in an interview despite applying to all. When I did my research to see who the companies hired they (not surprising!) hired experienced designers. When I asked about why I hadn't received any more job opportunities to apply for they ghosted me.
DO NOT enroll in the Remote US track. I should've known this Miami people were going to scam me.

UX/UI Design Bootcamp
I did a UX/UI Design Bootcamp at Ironhack. It lasted for 6 months, part-time. It was intense and I learned a lot of new stuff and made invaluable connections. The best part was we got to do a lot of hands-on practice and projects instead of just listening to lectures.

Absolute scam..
Absolute scam... Paid for this in full, they recommended 1 job, that was on site, in a different state, on the other side of the country. Not worth a single penny, absolute ripoff.... RUN AWAY, find a accredited institution instead.

This company should stop with their…
This company should stop with their false promising ad's on Instagram telling people they can get a job easily after the Bootcamp!!
The Bootcamp itself was very very though but you learn a lot; the career hack service is just trash!
I was lucky to get into the programm with the Bildungsgutschein in Germany; that means the goverment payed for the bootcamp with the intention to help me to find a job faster.
I'm a Junior Graphic Designer and graduated 6months ago. I applied for 190jobs and did one volunteering project for 2months and a freelancing part-time job for 43hours. I only had 2 interviews in that time and both of them had nothing to do with UX/UI.
I feel like I completely wasted my time with the bootcamp.
The reality is that atm the UX/UI market is completely oversaturrated, and Ironhack keep sending students out to the market keeping them from the reality. Everything is sunshine and roses and after the bootcamp the hard reality hits your face!
If you decide to do the bootcamp, get yourself a personal Mentor or Coach who helps you to find a job and be aware about the current situation on the job market r.n!
If you are from a completely different field don't fall for the rainbow posts on Instagram!!
And yes I'm still unemployed!

Way too expensive for offering very little value, inexperienced teachers
It´s interesting how there are mostly 1 star experiences and the word scam being used in reviews and a sudden wave of 5 star reviews is following ... nothing in between. (maybe mployees will now post 4 star reviews)
Ironhack are in my view omitting information to get you to sign up. UX/UI design course teachers had no relevant work experience. So called career week was the biggest scam. Many in our course have been complaining only to be gaslighted about it.
You are expected to work for course way more then 8 hours a day though and get extensive tasks over weekend. Not sure what the point of this is.
Total scam
Total scam. Any education and new skills resulted from my own external mentors and resources. Avoid and do not become a victim like me. My computer eroded during the course and there are zero educators.
I’m about to sign up for ironhack…
I’m about to sign up for ironhack hopefully I get the best out of it and not regret the decision. Cause I haven’t come across any good review online even alumni that graduated few months ago didn’t recommend Ironhack . I’m not rich to throw away €8500
Company is a scam
Company is a scam. Charge around 8k for a course but after course had complete, you are on your own. Career team ignores emails on purpose. The whole company is a fraudulent from the teachers to the higher management. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless your rich and don’t care about the money go ahead
I recently finished a UX/UI bootcamp by…
I recently finished a UX/UI bootcamp by Ironhack. The only extravagant thing about the bootcamp is the price tag.
The bootcamp DOES NOT prepare you for the work of a UX Designer - in fact only after the bootcamp, through tedious self-study I was able to learn basic things such as autolayout in Figma.
The career services are an absolute joke - the career week is nothing but a waste of time, and the coaches are not really specialised in their respective fields. It does not help me to have a career coach, who does not know what to look for in a portfolio, or who does not know that Figma-pdfs are not ATS-friendly.
For this valuable information I had to turn to ADP-list coaches.
Thinking about the structure of the company it is no wonder. Ironhack primarily seems to hire past students as teaching- and learning assistants. I don't mean experienced UX designers who want to give back, but people who apart from the bootcamp have no experience whatsoever in the field.
Not only wouldn't I recommend you to attend the bootcamp, I would actively recommend to look for a different one. There are many options on the market, with better structure, better prices, and better networking opportunities.
I genuinely regret paying for this.
Big price tag, 0 opportunities
While the teaching staff did their best, the company over-hyped the possibilities of getting hired after the conclusion of your bootcamp. While they do make it clear that a job is not guaranteed, at the same time they say that most of their students find a job within 3-6 months if you follow their guidance. As an outsider to the tech world, I placed my trust in Ironhack and gave them my hard earned money / little free time.
Unfortunately, the reality is not what they make it out to be. Out of a class of approx. 20 students, only a few have found a job (and these had previous coding experience). The rest of us are barely getting any interviews whatsoever. All in all, you will pay 7.5k for something you can learn for free on YT and other free platforms.
This feels like a legal scam.
I applied for the Data Analytics…
I applied for the Data Analytics program in Mexico. The project manager bullied me to withdraw my application and ask for a reimbursement. Even though the program was advertised as a course for beginners, I was told I won’t get the credential because I am a beginner, so I should withdraw my application even before the course started. I told them I would study hard they told me it doesn’t matter. I was told the reimbursement would take max 60 days. Today they told me I might not even get my money back within 60 days. I am on day 35. I don't post negative reviews, but I don't know what else to do to help myself. I lost my job 3 months ago and this was supposed to be a new beginning, instead it is everything but that.
save your time and money awful crew ! You are just a check to them and they are disrespectful
I share the same experience with the last reviews below, they just here for your money! I had a horrible experience, the teacher from Serbia miss S.D was Horrible to me, yelled at some of her non favorite students. I basically had no support and learned everything alone. And talking about follow ups with the career hack let me laugh they don't help you at all ! It's been over a quite some time now since I graduated and apparently I was one of the best students ( from what they saying) well let me tell you if u do a reconversion and you over 40yo it is a struggle to get a junior position anywhere! A waste of 8000€, waste of time, I felt bullied and humiliated... they don't teach they read slides! If the teacher and her team don't like you well guess what you pay the hard price! I am very very disappointed... runaway they just want to take your money and they not willing to do any good! If u are 20 ish max 30 yo you might get a chance but most of the one of my age we struggle and never found jobs in the industry ! I have to restart all over my reconversion
I've just began my application process…
I've just began my application process at ironhack London bootcamp, and am having a wonderful experience already. great support from the Team
Horrible Bootcamp, they don't care about students
Do yourself a favor and don't go to this bootcamp. Terrible material, they have this online platform with what is supposed to be an addition to what you learn in class with information that could be easily found on the internet with an even more in-depth explanation. The staff is awful, it takes very long to answer emails and if you communicate an issue to them they are in my experience, extremely condescending. The teacher that led the online course was very unprepared, the lesson consisted mainly of him talking and using slideshows it wasn't interactive at all, and the teacher's English level and technical level was, in my opinion, not adequate enough to teach. The only good thing is that they provide you with exercise martial, but you could access very similar coding exercises through online katas. They don't provide any specific help with careers and I know many of the people that did the Bootcamp had difficulty finding a job, just have a look on Linkedin.
