Didn't recieve my initial order as the delivery company left it somewhere without telling us, but the customer service I recieved afterwards from ironmongery plus was very very helpful and I had the order redelivered the next day without fault, thankyou for sorting this for me, will definitely use again

The Order was fulfilled directly via our supplier, and their courier did not take a photograph of where the goods were left
As per our phone call today we offered a full refund, or to re-send the goods again. You chose to have the goods re-sent.
We are re-sending the goods out to you today , and they should be with you tomorrow.
We are re-ordering with our supplier now, with clear instructions that the goods are only to be handed over directly to someone at your address. We will also monitor this delivery.
In respect of your ignored email, this was a failure in our processes. The staff member in question had not forwarded their emails whilst they were on holiday. I will ensure that our processes are updated to ensure that this cannot happen again.
I sincerely apologise for your inconvenience over this and hope that this goes a little way in restoring your confidence in us. We would really like to keep you as a customer.

Very responsive and helpful
Very responsive and helpful - even though in this case they had an issue with a supplier and needed to give us a refund. We really appreciated that the team there (numerous people we interacted with) came back to us quickly and in the end processed our refund quickly, not everyone does that. We will come back in future for other purchases I'm sure. Thank you.

We ordered the wrong set of handles as…
We ordered the wrong set of handles as we needed a toilet Snib lock included within the handle latch and we didn’t realise this at the time ,my wife called and spoke to Andrew to explain , Andrew took my number as I was out on a job and called me to clarify exactly what we needed ,he sorted it all out after asking exactly what I was doing and what the door set up was , he sent out the correct replacement handles and latch and told us to just “ pop the original handles in the post back to us , it’s absolutely no trouble at all ”
It is the sort of great customer service you just don’t get anymore , or so I thought , really impressed with the service and the advice is almost worth its weight in gold as it saves me doing the job twice, we will certainly be back because not only are they great value for money but we really value this type of service.
