This company are appalling. Promise next day delivery and no product 2 weeks later. Fobbed off with lies about product being delivered. Shoddy and really poor customer service. They sound like they are operating from someones front room, are totally unprofessional and I cannot state enough that I would urge anyone else caution when using this company. I am still waiting for a refund.

Absolutely appalling company with shocking customer services. I ordered several items though one item was missing. After several phone calls and an email I was fobbed off with varying excuses though was eventually offered one penny less than I paid - not including VAT (I refused the offer) after escalating my claim through paypal. I'm still waiting for my full refund after 2 months.

After 4 weeks I still don't have what I paid for. Took them over 2 weeks to ship the item which was supposed to be ex stock. When the item eventually arrived it was faulty. They were particularly unresponsive before, now I've asked for a refund it's complete 'radio silence'. I tried to be reasonable at first, now I'm just going to leave it to Visa to sort out.

Ordered 5 heavy iron barn door handles on 19th January....have yet to receive!

After a initial email from them saying they would look into the where abouts of my items I've not heard back from them.
Have emailed a number of times in the hope this issue can be resolved.
I have now placed this matter in the hands of credit card company to proceed in a charge back request.
In the meantime will be contacting trading standards

Received my aluminium name plate and it’s great the letters are raised and painted light grey, the background is black ! Both spray painted beautiful! I love it! It’s my second purchase and will be buying again!also received within a week and packed really well!! Thanks

Wanted to order a Lath airier priced at £55, (£45 something excluding VAT) website states spend £45 and get free next day delivery.
I added my items to the basket and then clicked to checkout as a guest only for it to try and charge me £5.75 delivery for a £55 order, sent an email and received a gobbledygook reply so I decided to call them, I wanted to sort this out and part way through trying to clarify the delivery process and charges, or the fact that there should be no delivery charges, the rude woman I was talking to just hung up on me, very rude and incredibly bad business practice.

I ordered 6 pairs of shelf brackets. The initial order was processed efficiently and a delivery arrived very quickly. Unfortunately 2 pairs of brackets were missing as they didn’t have enough stock to fulfil the whole order. Communication hasn’t been great around when I’ll receive the remainder - I’ve had to chase multiple times. It’s now been a month since I placed the original order and I don’t know when it will be completed.

Delighted with the lovely antique iron Door hinges & catches that we purchased. Would definitely buy from Ironmongeryworld again .

ordered parts, web site states same day despatch and free delivery for orders over £45. I got charged £5.75 delivery for a £75 order, and two weeks later, no items delivered, ignoring emails.

The coat rack with the snail hooks mounted on oak is lovely, tho I'd have liked some instructions as a newby DIY'er. Disappointed with the ceiling hook for my plant hanger as the hook hadn't formed cleanly in the mould so the hanger snagged on the rough bit. Took me ages to file it down so I could use it.

Such gorgeous products at such reasonable prices! There are very few places in our flat which now don't have something from Ironmongery World. The mouldings are excellent quality, woodwork the same, finishes great and delivery super-fast. Really happy with everything we've received.

Very efficient service and quality product

I was thrilled to find this site! What a wonderful range of items! We really like the new door handles and other accessories we bought. They were well packaged and delivered quickly. This would be a 5 star review, except for some slight tarnishing on the brass key surrounds, but customer service were quick to respond to my email, and I'm sure they will buff up nicely.

Great quality metal and wood at decent prices. Delivery was right on time too!
