I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with iMarketplace, a company I worked for, represented by I.B. (Isiah Ben Israel) in San Diego, California.
As part of my employment agreement, I was promised stock vesting as part of my compensation package. However, due to ongoing unfair treatment and a toxic work environment created by I.B. and other members of the company, I was forced to resign before the stock could fully vest. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this issue directly with I.B., he has refused to acknowledge the stock-vested amount owed to me.
This situation has caused significant financial loss and distress, as I completed the work I was hired to do and am entitled to the compensation promised to me. The toxic environment I endured has only added to the emotional toll, leading me to leave a role I was otherwise committed to.
I have reached out multiple times, including a formal request sent on June 12, 2024, but I.B. has failed to respond or fulfill the agreement. This lack of accountability and respect for agreements has severely damaged my trust in iMarketplace and its representatives.
I am now seeking the help of the Better Business Bureau to mediate this dispute and ensure that iMarketplace honors its obligations. I strongly urge anyone considering working with iMarketplace or I.B. to proceed with caution. My hope is that this review will prompt iMarketplace to resolve this matter swiftly and fairly.
Conclusion: I look forward to a prompt and professional resolution of this issue. iMarketplace, please do the right thing and fulfill your obligations.
