Gastric Sleeve with GSIT & Dr Ismail October 2025
From the moment i booked with GSIT, I knew I made the right decision. I had my surgery on 6th October 2025. From the moment i stepped off the plane i felt taken care of. From the excellent communication from the transfer, the well oiled system in the hospital from pre op tests to surgery. The care is second to none! The hospital rooms were extremely clean and the staff were excellent and at your call whenever you needed them! I am now 1 month post op now and Dr Ismail and the team have checked in on multiple occassions to answer any questions i have had and to ensure post op bloods have been complete etc. If you are sitting on the fence just jump in with both feet i did and I will never look back!

Nurses were on hand all the time and nothing was too much trouble.

Great experience and care with Dr Yaman
I cannot fault Dr Yaman or the hospital. The care I received whilst getting my gastric sleeve was first class and the hospital was spotless and extremely comfortable. From stepping off the plane to returning home, I felt cared for and listened to. Everything was explained to me, the tests that were completed were great. The after care was amazing. Dr Yaman and his team came to see me everyday to check I was ok, the aftercare instructions were clear and since being home, I have had check ins with Dr Yaman, any advice I have needed he has been there for me. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Thank you for my new lease of life. I will be forever grateful. I have lost 6.5 stone in 5 months and feel amazing.

Best decision I ever made !
I cannot recommend this hospital and Dr.Ismail Yaman enough, the whole experience was 1st class, the hospital was spotless and the staff were amazing. I have lost 10st in a year and could not be happier. They have supported me this whole year with contact and checking in to see how my progress was going and there was plenty of contact and support before hand also leading up to my procedure. Excellent personal service, even helped and delayed the operation when my plane was delayed.

Are you ready to change your life?
My surgery with Dr Ismail Yaman was extremely successful. He and his team were very attentive, caring and supportive throughout the whole process.
The hospital was like a hotel and they also cared very well for my wife that came with me. It really put me at ease.
I am now 6 months on and over 6st down.
My advice for anyone looking to have weight loss surgery, do your research and mentally prepare yourself, don’t rush in and understand the sacrifices you will have to make post surgery. You have to exercise, accept your eating and drinking habits have to change and this is not a quick fix.
If you do this then the work Dr Yaman and his team do will enable you to change your life.
The aftercare provided is fantastic and i am still in regular contact with the team.

I flew from the UK to have surgery in January 2025. I cannot fault Dr Ismail and his team as they are incredibly professional, friendly and supportive. Whilst in the hospital the care I received was impeccable and since returning the care has been outstanding dispute being in different countries. I would highly recommend booking directly witj this surgeon.

GASTRIC SLEEVE
January 2025 I went to Ozel Saglik in Izmir for a Gastric Sleeve and chose to have Ismail Yaman as my surgeon. I am 6 months post op and have gone from 22st 8 to 15st 10. Him and his team are absolutely amazing and so is the hospital. I have never received care like it. I was very skeptical and nervous but I was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable from the beginning. Slight lack of english speaking but the translators always made sure I understood what was happening. His team are on hand 24/7 if you need any help or advice. They check in every now and then to see how you’re getting on and to me that is the best part. As soon as you leave to travel home - you’re NOT forgotten about. Truly amazing. Thank you for giving me my life back. I’m happy, confident and i’ve got my glow back🫶🏼. Enjoying life at 28yrs old as I should be 🙌🏼. A huge thank you to you all, from the bottom of my heart❤️🏥🇹🇷.

In 2022 I had a gastric sleeve
In 2022 I had a gastric sleeve by Dr Ismael yaman and what a positive and life changing experience it was. Since then I have lost 10st and am a new person. The manner and presence Dr yaman and his team had over me was reassuring and calming. I travelled and recovered alone. The team where amazing and really did make me feel safe. It was a very positive experience and was like a well oiled machine. But I didn't feel like a patient , more like a family member. I was sleeved 04/02/25 by dr Ismail Yaman along with gallbladder removal and could not have had a better experience. The whole team were wonderful and could not do enough for you.
Everything went smoothly and I felt safe and in good hands the whole time.
Pre op tests were thorough and I had a ct scan the day after which found a nodule on my lung which would never have been found at home.
10 weeks on and I am 4 stone down and feeling better than I have in a long time.

Had a gastric sleeve on the 23rd July 2024. No complaints. All round good experience. All pre op tests was thorough. Found out things I wouldn’t have known back in England. Surgery went well no issues. Healing nicely. Always there if I have a concern to message and give advice still. Prof Dr Ismail Yaman a really lovely surgeon.
