This course was everything a pizzaiolo could need!
This course was everything a non-experienced pizzaiolo could ask for. Whether you’re Italian or not, if you’re looking for an intense, detailed experience which will leave you a professional after just a WEEK - this course is for you. Both from a theory and a practical point of view, our teacher Matteo taught us every single detail that we would need to go and work in a pizzeria or even start our own. I had no experience beforehand, and barely spoke Italian (which was proven during the week) and I feel I’ve learnt more this week than I could’ve ever imagined. You’re taken care of - it’s personal but extremely quick and intense. The lovely accommodation the course provides helps with the intense part . But from Pizza Classica, Pizza Napoletana or Pizza al Taglio - I am beyond confident in my cooking/knowledge of each type of pizza that we studied. And I had barely even made Pizza at home before this! It was fun, it was difficult, it was one of the most rewarding weeks I have ever experienced. If you want a week where you enter unknowing, and leave with a skillset that will last a lifetime - this course is for you.
