Unprofessional Company
The "Easy and Free" return isn't easy nor free. I have reached out to them several times via email from their site and I have not heard from them. I believe this company is scamming customers and I will report this company to the government to prevent other customers to be in the same situation. I am shocked that a high end clothing store would put a customer in this situation. They only had ONE form called "RETURNS PROFORMA INVOICE" along with one page how to return simple instructions and with shipping label already enclosed. This company knows what they are doing. They are NOT providing customers with enough information on purpose, so the customers lose money on items they had returned. This is UNETHICAL! I will never buy from them again. They lost a customer for good and based on other reviews here. They are not gaining customers, but rather losing.

Order from 16 Jan 2023 not processed
I placed an order on 16 Jan 2023, expecting the delivery to occur by 23 Jan the latest (2-5 working days as per website and online order confirmation). I called up the customer service on 23 Jan, and after a 25 min wait was able to speak to someone who said that their website had been hacked which is what is causing delays. I requested that my order be cancelled as I had already physically bought stuff from their London store which I needed for my travel, and since my online order had not yet been processed according to the online tracking status, they shodul be able to do so. The customer service agent said he will check and email back. I have also emailed them twice since (via their web portal) but havent heard back anthing! The online tracking still appears as 'being processed' as of this morning (24 Jan). Poor customer service. I wish I had read all the reviews before placing the order!

DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY
Do not buy anything online from this business.
Reasonable delivery time and that’s it.
I purchased a dress on the 24th December 2022 that arrived on the 30th December 2022 which was not as described or shown (dress is described as ‘Short’ and shown mid thigh on the 5’ 7” model in the photograph. I am the same height yet the dress came down to my knees) and started the return immediately.
Returns are sent to Italy which means that three copies of the one pro forma invoice provided have to be correctly completed and given to the carrier on collection. No instruction is available as to how to complete it. However, Benetton make it clear on the website that any incorrect documentation will result in a non refund.
I sent several emails asking for a printable version of the single pro forma invoice and advice on how to correctly complete them, with no response. I eventually phoned them and was provided with both.
The item was finally collected on the 5th January 2023 by UPS ( Benetton’s elected carrier) one week (7 days) later on 12th January 2023 the item was delivered to Benetton and I am now being told that it will be another 14 days before a refund will be processed!!
Since the dress was not fit for purpose - due to being mis sold - I have had to buy a similar one elsewhere, for the same price, and am now in financial difficulty. I am single, live alone, work full time and earn minimum wage.
I will never buy from Benetton again and strongly advise that potential buyers purchase elsewhere in order to avoid the extremely poor returns and refund process and dire customer service.
* Update: It is now the 20th January 2023 and the return was delivered on the 12th January 2023 and still no refund. Complaint and Formal complaints made with no response.
Paid by Paypal so have asked them to step in.
* 20th January 2023. Response via Paypal is that they (Benetton) have had technical issues! This is apparently why a refund has still not been processed. A technical issue that hasn’t been resolved for eight days?!
* 22nd January 2023 and STILL NO REFUND. TEN DAYS LATER. These people are crooks!
* Update 23 Jan 2023 notified by Paypal that Benetton has made the refund. It has yet to reach my account and has taken ELEVEN days to be sent.
The whole process from order to return to refund has taken one calendar month. Use any other seller and it is one week.
* 27 Jan 2023 please see the company’s generic and pathetic response. I rest my case and will never buy from Benetton again.

Absolutely horrible experience not functiong online store
Absolutely horrible experience. I have tried to do the online purchase several times with different cards which work worldwide but it keeps cancelling my order every time. The customer service is just a JOKE AND INCOMPETENT. They answer you a uselesss message and then never reply back to you again, no one calls, nothing.

Returning two jumpers requires no less than 3 long pro forma invoices filled out by customer. Why? Easy? (they say) Hardly.
Customer Care (care? ha!) arranged the collection for me over the phone and emailed me that UPS would collect next day. No collection. Four days later I contacted Benetton by phone ( 10 times) and kept getting cut off after the “welcome” message.
I rang again this morning to be told that they were “off” last Friday whatever that means. (Could they not have amended their welcome message that day?).
It remains to be seen whether discussions with Rep. Sara today will get UPS to collect this week. She sounded weary / irritated and never once apologised on behalf of the company. (By the way, I found the name and email address online, of the CEO in Italy so emailed him but am not expecting to hear back).

Dreadful experience attempting to get a refund for returned items. Benetton are still refusing to refund my money one month after return, stating the items are "non conforming" and are being inspected by quality control and there are delays. I know this to be utter nonsense, as I tried the two jumpers on, repacked and returned them the same day and, of course, they were returned in pristine condition. I have never had this issue with any other company... and I purchase extensively online! I can see that many other customers are being treated like this by Benetton and I am disgusted. Will never buy from Benetton again. Update: I have now made a chargeback claim with my credit card company in order to get my money back. Thank you, Barclaycard for accepting my claim against Benetton! But I am shocked that Benetton still have my money for a returned item and Barclaycard have effectively had to pay for it.

Do not order from this company! Shocking experience from the very complex returns process which requires having to find a printer and then paying to return despite saying free and easy returns. I had to ring to check. I’ve now had my refund and been deducted £20 despite trying the coat on once and putting it straight back in bag. I am disgusted that I’ve been charged saying it’s not returned in original condition. I can’t believe this company continues to have such an awful process .
bad delivery service
The item never arrived. UPS was in charge for the delivery. We had several messages changing the delivery date (with reference to signature required). One day the item appeared to have been delivered through the letter box (and the signature?). We were at home all day, nobody came and nothing was left in the letter box. We contacted both UPS nobody has replied. We contacted Benetton and they are now investigating the issue. Benetton should perhaps think of changing the delivery company, as clearly UPS cannot be trusted. I am waiting to hear from Benetton and see how they solve the issue. At the moment, the "Christmas present" has not arrived (it is the 27/12) . The item never arrives

Returns are a complete mess
Firstly my order arrived missing an item. I emailed customer service that day. After 8 days they emailed back saying they're checking what happened. 8 days later they emailed saying I need to send a photo of what I received. I chased and chased and finally got an email saying we've refunded you to PayPal. I didn't pay by PayPal I don't have an account. I am fed up and I go to return the item that did arrive. The return says I have to take it to "NOME CORRIERE" - meaning the courier name should appear but it doesn't. I click on the link, goes to a dead link. Again I got an email saying your return will go to your PayPal account. I paid by Mastercard.... This has been going on 6 weeks. How can it be this bad?
Edit - the return process is so convoluted I swear it is intentional to stop people doing it. Print a form three times, they make you try to figure out which EAN number goes to which garment (this is on the tags FYI), then state put the three AWB into the pouch (do they explain what an AWB is - nope, you have to figure that out). Returns are a 10 step process. What a total joke. And as everyone else is writing, there's a strong chance they send everything back to you. I've done everything to the letter per the instructions, but I'm gambling 50:50 they return it.
Edit after their reply - notice they don't say they're fixing anything, or getting more staff, or simplifying the process. And also the things they said they emailed to me - they did not.

Trying to return a polo shirt back to…
Trying to return a polo shirt back to Italy. Have filled in returns notice but told I need to send 3 copies.
Now trying to find a friend with a printer or go to a library and pay for one.
Why is it so complicated to send something back? Great they've sent returns label but hassle finding a printer.
Won't be ordering from them again and by reading reviews wil have to wait ages for a refund.

Misleading customers
Colleague was told at time of purchase that PJ’s to be gifted were returnable ….24hrs later the manageress refused lifting the sigh stating ‘underwear’ was non returnable ?!? A quick discussion regarding the definition of underwear compared to any item that touched the skin, and the difference between a policy and consumer law and a refund was issued ‘this time’

Painful return service
Had to make a return said to be “free and easy” but unfortunately is was difficult and took hours of my day to complete. The products don’t include the necessary number of international post forms and the UPS point was down. This means that you have to go around to find and pay for adicional copy’s and head to the closest UPS working point. The Benetton client care referes you to their returns policy small letters and offer you the complains email. Which I’d seen their reviews before making any orders.

This is the quality of service before delivery. I don't know when I will get my order. Request all not to go for benetton online delivery. Very very poor.. No commitment.

Paid £9.50 for home delivery. After 11 days, I received a UPS message to say that the goods had been delivered to a random shop 0.6 miles from my house. Shocking service. First and last time I will order from Benetton.

Horrified is an understatment
It's taken then 2 months to get back to me about my return, even though their policy says 14 days. I've got hundreds of pounds worth of returns and they're now saying I didn't comply to their returns policy even though I wasn't able to submit a return form as per their requirements due to their website being defunct. I'm horrified on ONLY NOW reading all these trust pilot reviews to discover I'm not the only one with issues. This is a HUGE multimillion pound/euro/dollar company and they don't seem to give two ticks about their customers. I will NEVER buy from them again. I'm horrified.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Tried to cancel an order that was taking 4 weeks to arrive, the customer support replied 2 weeks later when the order had already been delivered with 4 weeks delay.
