I found Edoardo on Gumtree when I was looking for an Italian teacher. He started teaching my three daughters individually online. He prepares the lessons well and makes them interesting and fun. My daughters really enjoy the lessons and look forward to them. I have recommended Edoardo to several friends who have also started lessons with him.

Edoardo is a very engaging teacher! His teaching mixes grammar, vocabulary, conversation altogether to make lessons more interesting for students. Moreover, his online resources are extremely useful for consolidation of knowledge and practice of the Italian language. My confidence in speaking has increased exponentially and I am looking forward to continuing my studies.

Eduardo is a skilled and personable teacher who has managed to make learning Italian relatively painless and stress free! His teaching methods are responsive and innovative; encouraging me to work out new words and phrases based on the context in texts and also to take risks when practising talking about new subjects. The linked homework exercises are also very effective, especially when I manage to complete them! Highly recommend Eduardo to any prospective students out there.

Edoardo is a pleasant and patient instructor who was able to accommodate a unique linguistic focus in our lessons by locating and teaching from a subject-matter specific workbook. He organizes our lessons well between conversation practice and formal lessons. He is reliable, consistent and professional. I've enjoyed our lessons and would recommend him.

The exercise was well-made and a great addition to support a lesson. To learn a language you must not only learn grammatical rules and vocabulary but see the language in action: the formation/sentence structure, vocabulary in context, hear pronunciation and intonation. To speak it well, one needs exposure to real-life conversation, as in the video exercise, and exercises with related and repeated content support the absorption of material directly and indirectly.

Edoardo is an excellent and patient Italian teacher. He makes learning understandable and fun! He also uses technology to help reinforce concepts. I can honestly say it was the best Italian lesson I’ve ever had.

Edoardo is an excellent professional with a pleasant personality. He has a structured way of teaching and he uses technology (apps and websites) to assist his students with learning. He has patience, ability to distinguish when he needs to be brief or detailed (to my questions) and he knows well how to pass knowledge. I highly recommend him if you are looking to learn this beautiful/interesting language.

Reliable and excellent.
I would definitely recommend these lessons and it’s the best way to learn a language. Eduardo is fantastic.

At the beginning I was sceptic about online lessons, however Edoardo managed to change my mind. He keeps the classes at a very high level and uses technologies that basically make you forget about the distance (he is even doing his PHD in technologies used when teaching languages). Very professional! Well deserved!

Edoardo is a great teacher, able to understand how difficult it is for foreign people to understand and learn Italian.
If I had to learn Italian, I would indeed take lessons from him.

My intention is to become fluent in Italian in a very short time and Eduardo truly helps me to achieve this. He is not just blindly following a course but really listens to the student on what they feel they struggle with, which removes a lot of frustration. He identified together with me my best learning style and adapted the way he teaches my lessons. His content is never boring and he uses many different ways to teach *audio, video, quiz etc. I am very happy to have signed up with Eduardo and Italessons and intend to stay with him until I am finally able to live and work in Italy.
