scammer and untrusted company
i have unlimited websites annual subscription and they charged my creditcard and got no subsscription anymore and no support ticket answers and no ways to contact them . while security services should be 24/7 online they dont offer any support at all . be careful before dealing or buying any product from them and since they changed the brand to solid security they are cheaters scammers

Support team cannot help with problems with creditcard.

I now switch to All-in-one Security (AIOS) and this works perfect

I have a BackupBuddy subscription. While I have used the plugin to migrate and restore my website, it is very buggy. I frequently encounter unusable backup files created by the plugin. Every few months I return to try to configure the S3 remote destination feature. Then I remember the setup documentation is out of date and does not reflect the current AWS configuration. After wasting an hour or more I abandon the setup. I recently contacted iThemes about the outdated documentation whose only response was to prompt me to renew my support subscription.

Useless Plugin. Gives me a lot of headaches, and always lockout me out on my own website, even dough I configured it correctly. I give it a lot of chances but ended up the same, always lock me out. Avoid this plugin. It's a complete waste of time.

Some services are ok, but if you want best software and customer service it's better to choose others.

I loaded itheme Security plugin on to WordPress and it corrupted my website and lost all Data, would not recommend to use this plugin.

Restrict content pro...since they went under the ithemes umbrella, there is absolutely no service. None. I can't even get them to respond to a request to upgrade my service. It's a shame, because I like the plugin.

Do not buy their products. Support is non-existent! And products do not operate correctly with Word Press website. You will be sorry . . .

I've had service with this company for less than 48 hours... And I had to deactivate their plug-in after I was booted off of my own WordPress dashboard. After submitting several support tickets (each regarding a different matter), a member of their support team (her name is Rebecca Diamond) consolidated all of the support tickets into one, and left all support requests unanswered. Would you want to do business with a company that treats their customers like this? I don't. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company.

Really not happy with unfair price charged from automatic renewal.
According to website price should be $89 but when I checked my PayPal account it's £196 billing amount

I purchased the gold version of itheme's backup plugin backupbuddy, generally the backup plugin does work, though you do have to tinker with some of the settings. Be aware though it can be very resource intensive on your site.

As for their support, generally they try to deflect issues back to the customer. I recently opened an issue and as I was away for a few weeks, they had close this issue. So I have to again wast time opening another new request, which is that they removed functionality between releases and I had to spend the entire morning documenting where they removed functionality - rather than trusting the customer.

I had an email from this so-called company on 8/1/2020, telling me that my website been hacked.
When you look into this email even more. It's not that this is the case. This is a spam email from a company who use scare tactics to try and get people to sign up to their service

Avoid them at all costs, especially as they are not contactable by phone that hide behind emails and websites, the hiding place of the typing people who run businesses who are not accountable

i have almost 20 years of web development experience, and tried the backup plugin on 3 different wordpress sites, in all cases, there was alot of problems, and i had to contact the costumer service.

i finally gave up, and found another plugin that worked out of the box. - ithemes refused to give me a refund...
