Beware of fake advertisement
IUVO promote 100% payback guarantee on investment. The reality is that if an originator doesn’t payback, you lose your investment. I personally lost several hundred Euro when in July 2020, an originator stopped paying back. On top of that, since November, IUVO changed these investments status to “Default” so they will stop being visible part of the dashboard.

The information we share with our investors and potential clients is always true, transparent and updated.
The buyback guarantee is a requirement for every originator on iuvo. In case the borrower stops paying their loan, the originator buys the remaining invested sum back. Every originator offers specific terms which are available at our loan originators page.
Please note that iuvo is an intermediary between investors and originators. One of our tasks is to find reliable companies and we remain the platform with the strictest criteria when accepting new partners to work with. After the unpredictable circumstances due to the pandemic, CbC (the originator which you are mentioning) stopped fulfilling their main contractual obligations. Our team is taking all legal measures to protect our investors' interest and that remains our main focus.

Auto invest settings should more clear ( I mean different installment types) – you are not able to set up (for example) that maximum time for a loan is 1 year regardless of payment period (weekly, biweekly or monthly).
If loan originator is doing fine, IUVO is also doing fine.

Regarding the comment on the autoinvest feature:
In the beginning of 2020, we implemented a new filter that makes setting the remaining period of a loan more convenient. It is called "maturity term". By typing a number in the right box of the filter, you are setting remaining months until the loan is fully paid, without having to consider the number of instalments and instalments type.

Worse than other similar platforms
Compared with some other platforms such as Mintos, Swaper, PeerBerry, Viainvest, etc. the rates are lower and the platform user interface is not very convenient to use. Plus they had these unfortunate events with the Polish loan originators where investors cannot get their money back... I wouldn't say Iuvo is terrible but certainly worse than a lot of the other platforms.

No progress made on CBC
No progress made on CBC. IUVO has no control on the payments made by the borrowers. Currently the money is retained by the loan originator. For the investor this means that in reality this is not a peer to peer business model but a peer to business model. Which entails much more risk.

The last update we've received is shared on our website. A request was submitted in the court in Poland to initiate a procedure for declaring insolvency as well as a request to initiate a procedure for restructuring and rescuing the company. In addition, the company was imposed precautionary measures to prevent them from disposing of their property to the detriment of their creditors. A court official has been appointed to oversee CBC as well. We are expecting the court in Poland to decide which of the two procedures will enter into force in order to preserve the interests of the company’s creditors on the basis of an analysis of the company’s assets and liabilities.
As we strive to be as transparent as possible, as soon as we have an update, we will share it with our investors. Our efforts are directed towards iuvo to keep being the best place for your funds. Our team is available to assist if you have questions and we will be glad to help.
