good course to start from basics
I had joined this course as a beta tester and gone through the sections to seenif it makes sense to me. The course is divided into two parts, intuition and code practice, which is very helpful. The videos are also quite descriptive.

Beta tester's review
[Disclaimer] I was a beta-tester of the first 2 sections of the course.
A little of my background would help others understand where my opinion is comming from. I'm an electronic engineer pursing a masters in aerospace. So, no prior finance knowledge (it's not neede at all).
**PROS:**
1) Well put together content. The added value is that you have everything in one place. So, It's easy to hit the ground running. The alternative is to surf the internet and spend much more time to learn the topics.
2) Very empirical approach. You have a short theoretical introduction to every topic (nothing too mathematical... For the most part, is just to build intuition). And then you start a video lecture on how to use the algorithms. The use jupiter notes and demonstrate how to code and implement a solution to a simple problem. This allows you to have a "template" that you can use later on at your own project.
3) Short, concise videos where every little detail of the code presented is explained.
**CONS:**
1) You have to pay for something that (if you have the time and discipline) can find on the internet. Some times YouTube video lectures are just fantastic.
2) Examples are not introduced as in a real-world type scenario. Instead, short simple examples are give at every lecture (DON'T GET ME WRONG: this is great to grasp the concept and not overwhelm). But I would've liked more real-world type projects (maybe at the end of each section) for one to practice their skills and get a better understanding.
Overall, I would take this course if I'd the money to spare and wanted to get up to speed in the machine learning for finance world as fast as possible. I wouldn't take it if what I'm looking for is a deep dive into the nitty gritty details of each an every algorithm (look at YouTube video lectures offered by some universities, priceless).

Initial Review
Comprehensive program! The Quant & Python Intensive (Q&PI) program focus on first-hand Quant experiences that a non-coder can have. I was one of the beta test volunteers, and I highly recommend everyone that one to have first experience in the field.

Highly recommend!
This is a high-level, rigorous course that is sure to provide the results you’re looking for! Even though I came in with no coding experience, this course covered both the basics of python and industry specific skill sets.

Essential for aspiring quantitative financial analysts
The Quant & Python Intensive (Q&PI) program offered a comprehensive curriculum on python, specifically focusing on its applications in the quantitative realm of finance. The content within builds the skillsets needed for participants looking to break into a quantitative finance/data analyst role. As one of the beta test volunteers of the program, I highly recommend those who want to meet the growing demand of the industry to participate in this intensive.

Invaluable Program
The program is holistic in nature. You will learn everything about the fundamentals of investing in the markets, including more advanced means such as options and futures. It has helped me a lot in understanding what goes on in investing and how derivates work as well as the intuitive math that goes behind them. This program, coupled with the Q&PI program, will provide an invaluable experience in providing a thorough understanding of how the markets work and what tools to utilize as an investor, employee, etc. to capture the most alpha.

Ivy Line Capital Review
This program contains so much detailed knowledge that I have never been taught in my BBA degree. I am very satisfied and motivated with it, I would recommend it to those that are interested in working in the financial sector and, want to have experience before applying for any kind of job offer, it will give you the skills needed to succeed.
It also offers the opportunity to work on their own private investment fund once the program is completed!

Critical Review
I enjoy the quality of the program and the way in which it has been structured to encourage learning. Some elements of the program that I do admire is the numerous speaker series where a speaker who is specialized in a particular field is brought in to talk to us, not forgetting the market alerts messages we get every time on Linkedin which makes us be up to date with the market and whatever is happening around the world.

Competitive advantage for anyone from a non-target school
This is such a great opportunity for college freshmen and sophomores. In these extremely delicate and important years in recruiting, GenEd classes will not give you an edge over people who have real-life internships, financial expertise, and skills. However, with the I&D cohort, you not only get an expanding network of people in the same industries that you are looking to go into, but you also get so much financial and technical material that is not found anywhere in college academics. It is a bit expensive at first glance, but I can't tell you how many interviews I have gotten because of this program under 'Experience' on my resume. The people are awesome, and the information is top-notch -- 10/10.

Truly an excellent program
Truly an excellent program. The cohort is a well-designed program to educate students and future professionals about the financial market. These courses and resources were well presented and easy to understand the fundamentals. I truly thank Issac, Kevin and Brandon and their team for this opportunity.
The experience to have someone that…
The experience to have someone that supports, advices and orients you through all of the course is unique, it feels like someone who really care on your learning process. Besides of that I think Isaac is a really profesional person who also has great soft skills. The content is totally complementary from my masters degree and I've learned a lot.

Enriching and informative course
One of the best decisions I’ve made was to sign up for this programme. Considering my non-business/finance degree background, this course made it easy for me to understand finance fundamentals while educating me on more complex concepts. I also appreciate the regular 1-on-1s with Isaac where we discussed key concepts and latest happenings.

I really enjoy the course
I really enjoy the course, sometimes I find it a bit long, especially since I am also working. So I often start a minisection and do not finish until the end of the week.
I wish, I could do it faster.
The content is great, Isaac is a very good teacher and I appreciate that.
