The platform is easy to use. They are very responsive if ever you need to contact them.
Quick and easy site to search and find that special website address. Just wish you also did website creations.
I have been a customer of iwantmyname.com for several years, and I have seen a noticeable decline in their service. While the interface remains user-friendly and intuitive, the main issue now is the exorbitant pricing. The cost of their services has been steadily increasing, making it hard to justify staying with them.
What’s more disappointing is the decline in customer service. They used to have excellent support, but ever since they were acquired by a larger company, the quality has plummeted. Getting help now is a frustrating experience, with long wait times and unhelpful responses.
It's a shame because iwantmyname.com used to be a fantastic service. Unfortunately, their recent changes have driven me to consider alternatives. If you’re looking for reasonable pricing and reliable support, you might want to look elsewhere.
Great experience on resolving a login problem I had. Shaswat was patient with me as I was traveling and couldn't get access to a desktop immediately. Well done IWMN!!
I bought a domain. A few days later I realized I needed a different domain. I attempted to purchase 3 or 4 times because each time it sent me a verification code, it would not allow me to submit it. Then an email requesting my driver’s license, passport and proof of address. Then last night I got an email telling me w/in 2 hours I would receive a link to verify my original purpose and it would be disabled if I did not respond. Many hours later, I have not received that email in my account or spam. Then I sent an email requesting to speak to a representative and have not gotten any response so far, as you can see, zero for zero. I am out the 19.00 fee and no domain. I would like help - but not the automated kind. Please HELP. Thank you.
When I choose a product or a service, the quality of user support that the company providing that product or service is what really sets one company apart from another, and what makes me a repeat customer of that company.
In that respect, iwantmyname is a company that I can trust and one that I will continue to rely on for my domain name needs. A gem of a company.
I have been with "I Want my Name" for a long time and have always had a great experience. Security is good and they are very good at what they do!
Prompt response to my inquiry
Provided several solutions to my issue
Problem resolved quickly
iwantmyname is the most sensible domain registrar out there: the user interface is clean, simple, and effective, and the support team is always at hand.
People working on the site were very responsive. Thank you for you help and professionalism!
I still can't point my domain name to my zenfolio website. I keep getting a error saying the domain is not configured correctly
Please help me
Have used them since 2015, but last year I was told they were putting their prices up, sure enough come renewal I get a $57 bill to renew one domain name. I checked their website and said it was $45.99, last year was $32, so hang about, I'm being charged $25 more for last year, for the same name?
I immediately transferred my domain to my host I use at work, transfer done in 10 minutes and I'm back to 2015 prices paying $25.95.
I did ask iwantmyname 20 hours ago why the price increase, so far, no answer.
I changed my mind after I chose a new domain name; and because I hadn’t registered it yet, they went ahead and issued me a refund.
I’m now transferring my original domain name over.
I appreciate that they’re not all about the money.
Prompt and friendly communication, with clear information on what was required. Much appreciated the interaction and the swift resolution to my issue (which was definitely a 'me' problem in the first place!).
