Wish i could give a ZERO rating .. Big mistake from my end is to choose this site because I had a voucher to use. The transaction failed without a proper reason and the money got added to the wallet. When re-tried the same ticket, it increased by cost by 4K forcing the customer to use wallet+additional money. SUCH A SCAM. When initiated the refund of wallet to source account, the waiting period is 5-7 days. Seriously ???

I booked train tickets through ixigo and also paid extra for the "ixigo Assured" free cancellation option. The app says “zero cancellation fee” and “full refund on cancellation”, but this is a bit misleading.
When I canceled my ticket, I received a refund only for the train fare, not for the extra amount I paid for the Assured service. For example, I paid ₹1360, but only got ₹1050 back. The difference was the Assured fee, which is non-refundable.
While this may be mentioned in fine print, the way it is presented can easily confuse users into thinking the entire amount (ticket + assurance fee) will be refunded.

First time I use Ixigo app to booked my flight Ticket and Airline change flight Skedule but Ixigo Team arrange ticket to me as per my time and Schedule. Whole Ixigo Team response very quickly.

Don’t get cheated with their offers. They will give you colorful offers and at the end your money will be gone. Will not even rate 1 from my experience. Uninstalled alter the app.

I tried booking with it for the first time after payment successful. and waiting for 3 hours booking not cancelled. Such a bad experience and im not gonna use ixigo again

Yesterday I tried to make an international booking on ixigo
I did not get any option for seats and was directed to payment page
I called multiple times of customer care for support for clarifications and got a very poor response from the customer care representative
The response for totally irresponsible stating that I pay and they I can select the deaths during check in

Never book flights with Ixigo – worst experience we’ve ever had!

We booked an IndiGo flight from Fujairah (FUJ) to Kannur (CNN) through Ixigo. Our intended travel date was 23rd August, but shockingly, Ixigo issued the ticket for 22nd August without our consent.

When we noticed the mistake, we immediately contacted Ixigo customer support to request rescheduling or cancellation, but they demanded charges that were higher than the cost of the actual ticket. Instead of providing proper assistance, they kept giving vague responses and finally blocked us on chat support after we raised a complaint.

Now we are completely confused about what to do next — whether the airline (IndiGo) can help, whether Ixigo is liable, or if we are going to lose the entire money we paid. The lack of accountability from Ixigo is extremely stressful, especially since we have urgent travel plans.

We strongly advise others: please avoid booking flights through Ixigo. The risk of such mishandling and zero support is simply not worth it.

I am 70 years old, when I found no one to help me, IXIGO only came for my help, by providing all assistance, by mail, whatsApp, and their executive Sweeti, is wonderful staff. Helped me in every thing when I opted for Re-schedule my travel dates, and again for cancellations... Really Ixigo is great valued company, very useful for all class of people's . In future I recommend all my friends and Relatives to use Ixigo for Flight, Hotel Bus and other facilities.. 👍

My flight was cancelled due to an airline error (which they have admitted in writing), and the airline has refunded the full amount of ₹7,746 to Ixigo in two transactions – ₹2,596 on 24th July and ₹5,150 on 25th July.

But till today, I have received only ₹1,522 in my account.

Despite multiple emails, Ixigo has not responded at all. This is not just unprofessional – it’s outright unethical. Holding back someone’s refund for no reason, especially when the airline has already paid, is unacceptable.

I am sharing this review publicly because repeated attempts to get help via email have been ignored. Ixigo – if you value your customers, resolve this issue immediately.

I recently used ixigo for my travel bookings, including their Travel Guarantee service. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing due to their misleading practices and lack of transparency.

The main issue arose when ixigo changed their Travel Guarantee policy after I made my booking, without giving any prior notice. This left me completely unaware of the altered terms, and when I raised the issue with their customer support team, I was offered no clear resolution. The refund process was convoluted, and they tried to justify the changes by citing a vague term in their terms and conditions: "Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice."

While such clauses exist, it is completely unacceptable for a company to alter important policies without informing the customer beforehand, especially when those policies directly affect the services paid for. This is not only deceptive but also unethical and shows a lack of accountability.

Their handling of the situation left me feeling misled and frustrated, and I would strongly caution others to be aware of the potential risks when booking with ixigo. Transparency and honesty should be standard practices for any company, and ixigo has fallen short in this regard.

I will not be recommending ixigo to anyone and will be sharing my experience widely to make sure others do not fall victim to the same malpractices.

Neverrrrrrr book a flight ticket through ixigo....I was trying to book a flight from Ranchi to Bombay and my payment went through withoinh seconds through gpay....within seconds literally....and still the ixigo site took 20 minutes loading its page after payment and finally showed 'payment failed'..
I am till date waiting for my 17k to be credited back to my account.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Citizen and Ixigo. I requested a date change for my booking, but both the hotel reception staff and Ixigo customer care were completely uncooperative. They refused to help and showed no concern for customer satisfaction. I felt ignored and helpless. This kind of service is unacceptable. I will not recommend this hotel or booking through Ixigo to anyone.

I have booked a flight ticket from Bengaluru to Cleveland for 18th September, 2025 on 21st July,2025. Later on booked a round trip on 22nd July,2025 to and fro between Bengaluru and Cleveland for 18th September and 15th December 2025 respectively. When I requested for cancellation with full refund on 23rd July to Ixigo customer service desk, they are being inconsiderate and charging the total cancellation charge of Rs.16026.I am highly disappointed with the service.
