We are longstanding clients of Jackson Lees. They have acted for us in three property transactions. The most recent was long and problematic, and handled mainly by Gemma.
She is reassuringly competent and efficient, answered all our many queries promptly, often immediately, and worked tirelessly over many months to bring our difficult case to a conclusion. She is indeed a very safe pair of hands.
We also commend Connor for his oversight and final push towards completion. A great team!

I contacted this solicitors last year to enquire about bringing a case against the DWP. A female member of staff told me that I could have a consultation for £99. She wouldn’t have told me that given the details of my case that I gave her. If she didn’t think I had a strong case against them. I couldn’t afford the fee so didn’t go ahead. A lady even rang me back to check I wanted to go ahead. When I said I couldn’t afford the fee. I didn’t want to spend that on the consultation to be told I might not have a case after all. She even said I wouldn’t have been offered the paid consultation if they didn’t think I had a good enough case.
I contacted them again recently regarding my case. Frank Dernion rang me on Thursday regarding this matter. As I’m still having issues with the DWP refusing me benefits. I’d have to lie to receive benefits. Which I’m not prepared to do. I was told by Frank Dernion who was honestly rude and unprofessional towards me. In a dismissive manner. That I’m not entitled to benefits under the DWP rules. That doesn’t make their rules legally and morally fair does it? It doesn’t give him the right to personally comment on my situation either does it? Which is what I felt he was doing. Bringing personal rather than professional opinion into the matter. He isn’t paid to give personal opinion is he? He’s paid to give a professional opinion. An opinion within the guidelines of the law. Is this individual even qualified? When I was talking to him. I was questioning if he even has any legal knowledge or a law qualification and or a degree for that matter. He deliberately wasn’t trying to be helpful or useful to me. How can one member of staff tell someone they can have a consultation? Then you enquire again and another member of staff tells you can’t have a consultation and there’s nothing they can do for you? Please explain that to me? As I was very intrigued to hear their response to their staff members behaviour on Thursday. As when I rang up to complain another lady I spoke to who I think was the receptionist told me that I could have a phone consultation that it would be £99. The left hand doesn’t seem to know what the right hand is doing.
Today Andrew Holroyd emailed me of course defending his clueless colleague Frank Dernion. Wasn’t prepared to listen or deal with my complaints. He didn’t think there was a complaint for them to answer to. Which I disagree with. So I’ve reported them with all the proof of the entire email chain to The Legal Ombudsman. Please just avoid these arrogant cowboys. It isn’t worth the stress and the hassle.
Please see below the recent reply from these masochists. No JACKSON LEE’S you aren’t sorry. You CAN HELP ME YOU JUST DON’T WANT TO. That’s funny because last year I received emails from a female colleague of FRANK DERNION’S saying that I CAN have a CALL BACK AND THAT I HAVE GOT A CASE. They wouldn’t have given me a call back otherwise. A lady also called me back to see if I wanted to per sue the case. Not looking good for you two is it? They and my case with the LEGAL OMBUDSMAN against you now. Why would I bring a legal case against the DWP? with the ombudsman you absolute donuts? My case with the legal ombudsman is AGAINST YOU PEOPLE. Oh my lord. You are just making it worse for yourselves as everyone in Britain can read this. Know when to shut your mouths and admit defeat. Know when you’re wrong. Maybe FRANK DERNION and ANDREW HOLROYD should go and get a job shelf stacking at Tesco that’s just about their capabilities. Law isn’t either of your fortes darlings. I’d quit while you’re behind. Where did you both obtain your law qualifications in a bus shelter? Oooh lordy, lordy, LORD. Dear oh dear. What an absolute JOKE you are JACKSON LEE’S. just cease trading and have done with it. Do the North West and the rest of Britain a favour. Crawl away back into the holes you crawled out from. You absolute snakes.
FYI you haven’t resolved my case to the best of your ability. Hence why I had to take it further against you. Had you tried to at least work together with me on this. To resolve said issue. I wouldn’t have had to go to the ombudsman would I? But seen as ANDREW HOLROYD “the partner” in this circus refused. Then just defended Frank Durnion’s unprofessional behaviour towards me. Then gave me no option to actually try and work out the issues. That’s why I went above your heads. This is probably all a bit too complicated for you clowns to follow especially ANDREW and FRANK. So I’ll put it in stupid speak for you. YOU people brought this on YOURSELVES. YOU people caused this entire situation with your conduct towards an innocent member of the public who just wanted your help. YOU should be putting upholding law before profit. But we all know what money hungry snakes you are. YOU should be protecting me as the client. YOU should also know that I’m not going anywhere.

We received an outstanding conveyancing service from Jackson Lee's, most notably from Susie and Megan with regards to the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one. They supported us amazingly through a stressful time, and both myself and my wife cannot thank them both enough for everything they did to ensure we made our move. I would highly recommend Susie and Megan for all your conveyancing needs.

Gayle Hough & Emma Cafferty provided excellent service throughout our sale and purchase. Emma maintained quick, accurate and effective comms from start to finish. We had a challenging chain, but Gayle skillfully maneuvered us through the process. In the end we had a tense final day with late exchange and completion, which I really don't think would have been possible without Gayles guile and preservice getting all parties aligned at the final hour - so many thanks to you you both for your endeavors, I will be recommending JL to friends and family after my experience
