My wife and I recently attended a two-day beginners golf course, and it was an incredible experience. Our coach, Tim, was amazing. He was thorough and showed us the beauty of the sport. The golf course itself was stunning, with lush green fairways and breathtaking views. The hotel, part of the golf school package, was superb. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated. The staff were friendly and professional. Overall, it was a fantastic package that provided a memorable golf getaway for beginners like us. Highly recommended!

A great course aimed at exactly the right level for my ability (or lack of!). Good teaching facilities, nice hotel with good food and drink options. Most importantly the instructor, Tim, was excellent; patient, knowledgable, and encouraging.

Overall I’d highly recommend the school.

My son Adam and I were a little apprehensive as what to expect on the advanced two day training, being 8 and 18 handicappers. But Joe soon made us at ease, a good mix of theory, practical tutoring mixed up with practicing on the range helped hone our technique. We covered the entire remit of golf from the key elements of the swing to pitching, putting and bunker play. There was no quick fix but the coaching together with the written drills Joe provided along with the video report from Trackman provided key information to incorporate into focused practising. After a month since the training we are both seeing improvements in our games. The course hotel was good and I can recommend food at hotel and the Crown Pub in the village. A professional, friendly and productive two days, I can fully recommend it.

Great 2 day coaching experience with Tim, highly recommedable for all types of all levels. Went with a group of frieds for a long weekend and stayed at the hotel. Tim prepared great lessons for the 4 of us, working on the technique, giving personalized advise and with a lot of practice.
Tim is a great coach and knows how to properly teach and give good tips. I feel my level has highly improved after my lessons.

I had a lovely weekend at at the James Andrews golf school. I had never played any golf before at all and didn't even have any clubs but Tim Kelleher was an excellent instructor. He was good fun but firm (there's a lot to do to get an absolute beginner to being able to hit shots by the end of the weekend) and very kind and encouraging when it felt overwhelming. He made sure the days were varied and covered enough theory with plenty of practice. I would now feel confident to go to a driving range and feel I have lots of information to inform some practice before deciding if I want to take it forward. All in all the tuition was exactly what I was looking for. Tim is extremely knowledgeable so would no doubt be very helpful to more advanced golfers too. I did not stay at the hotel but was made to feel welcome in the hotel premises and bar all the same. Overall a really good weekend, would highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they might like to start playing golf but doesn't know quite where to start.

I have struggled with many aspects of my golf swing over the years and despite a few lessons never really found out why.
Through the technology and Tim's excellent analysis I have seen the error of my ways!
More importantly I have been given the remedies!
It won't be overnight but hitting some balls at the driving range a couple of days after I could see an huge change
So thank you Tim.
The Hotel is good (and busy) and the Golf courses a fair challenge, perhaps suffering a bit from the amount of rain in recent weeks.

A very enjoyable three mornings of golf tuition with Tim Kelleher of James Andres Golf School. I would definitely recommend both the golf school and the hotel.

The facilities were excellent and Joe was an excellent instructor. The use of Trackman and video was extremely helpful enabling me to see improvements every day. After the course I was sent a detailed exercise plan and trackman videos which I can refer to in the future. I would highly recommend one of their courses to anyone wishing to improve their golf.

I have no hesitation in recommending The James Anderson school of golf. They were far more thorough than I ever expected and covered all aspects of my personal needs, I now fully expect my golf and enjoyment to reach new levels

Thoroughly enjoyed the school and found it tremendously helpful. We both felt the same and have noticed a significant difference since we got back. The follow up notes are very helpful too.

Attended the 2 day advanced course with James and his team. I've gone from a single handicap upwards and was looking for a good analysis of my current swing and improvement coaching to reverse my recent inconsistancies.
After an initial consultation in which James explained what would be happening day one was an honest assessment of where I was, what could be improved and onto making it happen. Day two expanded the coaching to continue improvement and bring in other elements of the game like chipping, putting etc....
During the visit the Trackman analysis was excellent, ample use of the driving range and access to the golf courses on site and upon completion James has supplied videos and coaching tips to continue self improvement.
Having played golf for 35 years and never had a lesson, I have to say I couldn't have picked a better school and James and Tim were excellent with me and the other 3 guys who attended. Important to them was the fact that their time was ours and once we'd decided how far we wanted to go with change, James set out a plan and we got on with it.
A week later, I've put some practice in, I'm seeing and "feeling" improvements, its still a work in progress but well worth the experience.

The course was delivered in a friendly and inclusive way that made learning easy.

Very helpful and informative three days with Joe Queen (with some contributions from Tim also during this time). The analysis of swing mechanics was methodical - building from half swing to full in a very detailed fashion- and making full use of the Trackman technology to make suggested adjustments as necessary and appropriate. The videos from all angles were particularly useful- what you feel you are doing when making the swing and what actually does occur is sometimes painful to review (!)- though Joe was always reassuring, positive and patient. The follow up analysis after the course (including videos, suggestions and tips personally tailored according to each student) is a useful summary of particular aspects of the swing to be worked on for the future. I would perhaps ideally have liked a little more detail on the slight adjustments required to the swing for the driver, but appreciate that the much of this is included in the analysis of the swing overall in any event. An enjoyable and informative three days- thanks again Joe and Tim.

Excellent. Analysis. 28 Handicap one handed

As a beginner, I have struggled to get to grips with golf, on and off, for nearly 15 years and, despite my best efforts, found it impossible and frustrating. After 3 days with James I am really excited to say this is no longer the case. An intense, fun and extremely rewarding course with guidance tailored to individual issues. James is an excellent teacher. He quickly gets a feel for the learning needs of his tutees and his patient, yet dynamic approach ensures the message hits the target. The school has excellent facilities allowing you to reflect on your learning and continue to develop long after you’ve returned home.

I have now attended a three day course with James twice (7 months apart with a little bit of practice in between) and have to say I am delighted with the progress I have made on both occasions.The teaching facilities are excellent and James manages to put you at your ease while simultaneously giving you the means to make real improvements in your game. I'll be back!

Absolutely brilliant 3 days of golf!

I would highly recommend this academy to anyone. My swing is completely transformed and every part of my game improved! Joe was fantastic throughout.

I have just finished a beginners course with Joe Queen . The course was well structured and instructed. Joe mixed theory with practice in just the right measure to ensure we were always fully engaged . I have come away feeling confident that after a little
practice it will be time to hit the course. I will definitely revisit Joe and team for more lessons as my game progresses, most importantly they made the process so enjoyable .
