I just wanna express how disappointed I…

I just wanna express how disappointed I am in this Weatherford, TX location. When I arrived, I was NOT acknowledged or even greeted. I walked up to the Pick Up counter. And then two white girls walked in shortly after me, and Janessa (I believe that’s how you spell her name) said hello and welcomed them. Not once did either of the older (white) ladies at the counter tell me they’d be right with me; they just acted like I wasn’t there. Then this younger (white) girl named Cydney came out from the back who also saw me and looked past and greeted the girls and immediately went to help them. Cydney then came around near the area I was, and I told her, “Can you help me? I was actually here before those girls,” and she was going to ignore me, so then I said, “Ma’am, hello? I’ve been waiting a while now for someone to help me long before the girls you’re helping” and then she said, “I’ll be right with you” and proceeded to walk back to the other side, but I guess she processed what I said and came back to help me. Then she asked me what I wanted, and I told her I was just picking up. I told her it’s sad that I walked in here and no one greeted me, and then those other two white girls walked in and they DID get greeted. Then you come out and ignore me too and go straight to helping them. And she was like, “ I’m sorry, we’re just understaffed today.” And I told her “No that’s not why; I see exactly what’s happening here! I’m being treated poorly because I’m not white, and that’s wrong!” And she didn’t know what to say so she ignored me and went to get my bracelet. I then asked her for her name and the other two women, but she only gave me hers and Janessa’s. She asked if I wanted to wear my bracelet out (and I did). Then she finished the experience with “hope you have a better day,” which was even pettier and unapologetic.

I am beyond disappointed and degraded. I really hope James Avery works on the people they are hiring. Because this is a place that I’ve always held to high standard, not just because the founder was prior military but because they claim to a Christian store who (doesn’t discriminate) treats all of their customers like family. If that were true they wouldn’t have belittled me for being a Hispanic. This issue needs to be addressed immediately because I would hate for anyone else who is not white to feel the way I did that day. No one should be treated any less because of their skin tone, at the end of the day we are PAYING costumers.

Date was February 5th, around 3:30 p.m./4 p.m. at the Weatherford, TX located 116 E I-20 Ste 140.

Complete garbage

Complete garbage. Might as well buy something on the rack that's fake at T.J.Maxx or likewise. They don't even bother to box it up nicely. Arrived damaged and scratches everywhere from rubbing the chain all over the cross.

Quality has substantially gone down

Quality has substantially gone down! I am a huge James Avery buyer, have been collecting jewelry for years. Seems within the last couple of years or so the quality has dropped dramatically.
I purchased pearl earrings a year ago, and one pearl just fell out of the earring post. I have gold earring hoops that turn my ears GREEN, and necklaces that break easily. After the pearl earrings this past weekend, I will no longer purchase JA.
My husband just bought me two charms for our anniversary, and I'm contemplating returning them as I feel the quality isn't there anymore. Prefer to return and spend the money with an alternate jeweler.

Spent 1200

Spent 1200, had to argue about wooden box to dress it up so it didn't look like something out of a gumball machine. They wouldn't budge said to bad about the box even though it says orders over 800 receive one . they claimed since I used the design your own feature that its 2 separate things. Even though they made it into one and billed me once! Its cheap Chinese jewelry. Just using a dead guys name. Buy vintage James Avery if you must. Wish I just bought from a local place. Very displeased and disappointed. Waste of money!

Positive Customer Service Review

Reached customer service for losing bracelet because of design of clasp, had not requested replacement, but they did. Spoke with customer service to tell them how clasp for this particular style of bracelet was not very secure. Will definitely fix this clasp. Very appreciative of replacement and kindness of customer service representative.

Overpriced costume jewelry

Overpriced costume jewelry. Trying to be Pandora but the quality and customer service is not there. Supervisors with less customer service experience and professionalism than the people they oversee.

I spoke with someone two weeks ago that…

I spoke with someone two weeks ago that ensured me that the key fob necklace would be removed/no longer sold due to her agreeing that it resembles a noose. This item is still showing up on the company website and google. I’m appalled that she lied to me and that the company thinks it’s ok to be racist in selling such a horrific item. People were hung with a noose and you all are ok with that. I hope your sales decline until you remove such an item and any that are similar

Stupendous customer service!!

I walked into jewelry store, saw a wide selection of jewelry beautifully displaid. I was able to spot exactly what I came in looking for. The staff was friendly, they asked if there was anything I needed right as I walked in. Great customer service. They were able to retrieve my item of purchase and between transaction they even went about cleaning my person necklace I was gifted by my wife from James Avery. Great work. Look forward doing more business and keep up the good work.
