We are really pleased that we signed up our son for the one day revision course provided by James Howard Education. He found the day invaluable and the notes provided together with the follow up support from Avi was second to none. Will definitely recommend to others.

We signed up on the back of many mutual friends recommending and now we 100% recommend.
Our son completed the RS course with the incredible Avi who goes way beyond teaching the content face-to-face - he teaches students how to approach and structure essays which will be so helpful for other GCSE subjects too.
Our son was sending Avi a tonne of practice papers and essays for marking in the run up to the exams, and Avi was always prompt to return it with feedback which was both encouraging and constructive. Subsequently we saw a consistent improvement in our son’s confidence and results.
We’re signing our daughter up for the same programme from this September.

I couldn’t recommend Avi highly enough. The attention and care he has shown towards my son’s learning is outstanding. He structures the course in such a fashion that they learn at a pace that’s slow and builds term by term. This results in a feeling of confidence towards the end. Avi is always on hand to offer additional support and advice. He goes above and beyond. Additionally the way Avi advises on essay structure and question answering ensures that knowledge is formulated in the best way possible.

Avi has been exceptional for my son. With only 3 lessons he taught him the skill of writing answers to bring his grades up. We can’t recommend him enough!

We have now used Avi of James Howard Education for two of our daughters who both took Religious Studies GCSE outside of school and on both occasions have been so impressed with his teaching and the sheer dedication to his students. His teaching methods greatly assist the kids in all of their exams not just the GCSE they learn with him. He is thorough, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!!!!

Avi was such a great teacher throughout the course. He was always available, extremely responsive to any questions from student or parent and provided a really modern and accessible experience. My son loved learning with Avi and I was super impressed as a parent. I would highly recommend his RS course. It's also very sociable for the kids and Avi makes it fun but instructive.

As a parent, I honestly couldn’t recommend Avi highly enough. He has been an amazing GCSE tutor for my daughter — not only teaching exactly what was needed for the exams, but genuinely inspiring confidence and enjoyment in the subject along the way. As the year progressed, he really fine-tuned exam technique, style and approach, which led to clear improvements in both her confidence and grades. My daughter found his sessions clear, focused and easy to follow, and his support around exam preparation made a huge difference. Avi taught Religious Education GCSE to all three of my children, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is incredibly patient, gives clear instructions, and provides excellent structure in line with the mark scheme, which really helped them understand exactly what was expected. Throughout the course, all three of my children grew in confidence and developed a much stronger understanding of how to do exams. Avi is always there to offer support whenever needed and communicate with the children and parents. His dedication, encouragement, and professionalism made a real difference. Very well structured tuition with incredibly detailed feedback

Avi is a very patient and experienced teacher. He allowed our daughter to grow in confidence. Since being taught by Avi she is able to make concise, well constructed arguments, using her own opinions which are backed up with in-depth knowledge that includes date and source quotations. She enjoyed her lessons and has grown as a direct consequence.

Avi was absolutely incredibly at teaching, guiding and supporting our son through this course! Our son said it’s the best teacher he’s ever had! Would highly recommend!
