Paid £48/hour for Sevenoaks entrance…

Paid £48/hour for Sevenoaks entrance exam tutoring. The teaching was competent but not noticeably better than other tutors at similar or lower rates.

The main issues were limited feedback on my child’s progress and no homework set, making it hard to track development or reinforce learning between sessions.

The tutor also recommended Terri Owen from Dandelion Tutoring for English, which appeared to follow a similar approach—more like a standardised tuition centre than tailored support.

Overall, the experience felt impersonal, and for the price, it didn’t offer good value.
