Good: Onsen Spa, staff were friendly and helpful, very beautiful gardens, nice location.
Not so good: food was very poor both in terms of quality and variety, only one towel in the room which had to be also used for Onsen, no water provided in room and WiFi reception was poor.
Overall, was most expensive place we stayed during our visit but not good value.

Best travelling experience
Japanese Guest Houses helped us find excellent place to stay in Koya-San in a monastery. They offered us great options based on our budget and provided all the information and reminders necessary. Best travelling experience we had in Japan.

Sekisuitei Ryokan in Noboribetsu
Sekisuitei Ryokan in Noboribetsu
The place is quite good but it’s a big one Ryokan.
The services doesn’t been really good. We stayed for 3 nights and they only clean one day the bathroom.
We expect more quality of the place and his services ( not vieu, the quality of the food it’s not enought good, not very clean, the space of the room and the bathroom are small,...)
The relation between quality/price is not good. It’s and expensive Ryokan.
It’s a shame😌
Loved our time at shojoshin-in
We really enjoyed our time in Mt Koya
I would highly recommend a stay with the monks , the meals were amazing and food that we would never think of ordering .
Location wise this place was perfect right next to the ancient cemetary , and the night walk thru the cemetery is a must .
The trip to Mt Kayo is a bit of a hike but it’s worth while .
