Jaystar are terrible
I used Jaystar about 2 years ago and they were great, very efficient, courteous, competent, helpful, and great value for money. Used them again at the beginning of July and the experience couldn't have been more different. I was promised tall boxes with rails for all my clothes - they didn't exist - all my clothes were stuffed into bin liners and arrived extremely creased. They broke a picture frame which will cost me at least £80.00 to replace. I was promised the boxes would be collected 3 days after the move, then I was told that that "was a goodwill gesture" and they weren't doing it, so in 30 degrees I had to break down over 20 boxes and get the huge amount of cardboard into my car and to a recycling site. They have got a dearly loved and nurtured plant in a beautiful pot and they are not giving it to me. Other items have been lost. They were late arriving on the packing day and the removal day. The workers took frequent cigarette breaks, leaving my flat unlocked when they did so. All in all - a terrible experience - I wouldn't use them again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
