Great stores around Australia, they often adhere to good warranty practices, the only issue I've ever had is one time with a phone charger cable, where the manager was being persistent about it working on their phone, but it wouldn't on mine, so that was somehow my problem, and not the cable. Which is just poor customer service. But I went to another store, and found someone who didn't wake up on the wrong side on their bed. Staff always friendly, always getting good prices, always looked after, clean stores, nothing negative to say as of yet really.
Can't believe what you are told - next day delivery has not happened
Had to make this Purchase online as the stock was not held in store. Was promised it would be delivered the next day - paid for that. Urgently required. And No order Delivered. No tracking info on Global Express who it is apparently with. Can't speak to anyone there and now online chat at JB says it takes atleast 1 - 3 days after it reaches the courier. Then why Lie to a customer and say it will be delivered the next day. I would have purchased it elsewhere had I known this would happen.
They slow down returns
Been a customer for many years and spent many thousands of dollars with them but when it comes time to return a faulty product they try to slow the process down in the hope that you just give up. Sales enquiries are answered within minutes but it has taken two weeks for them to do what they could have done in two days - they then had the hide to say that they were delayed because they had a long weekend - deceitful as well as deliberately slow. They have lost my business for good once I have this rectified. Ridiculous way to lose loyal customers

Their online customer service is appalling, chat system when you have an issue is so slow, placed in queue with little or no movement. If you are buying something it's a different story. Treat your customers like this and they will never return, I know I will not buy another thing from them. Another company cutting costs by providing a substandard service. Just proves they don't care one bit about their customers.

Was in hold for nearly 2 hours about an order they stuffed up. Then the phone rang, didn't connect and hung up on us.

When you call the number 135244, they are very good if you want to purchase something. You will be answered in couple of minutes. But if you want to have a discussion on the item that you purchased, you have to wait for hours on the phone... Today I was in the queue of 27 and waited 1.5HRS, and I become 15 in the queue, ended up hanging up the call... Useless people... and very disappointed. .
Delivery fail and bad customer service
Sept 9: ordered headphones on JB Hi Fi website. Delivery expected before Sept 15. Sept 15: headphones delivered... to JB Hi Fi's warehouse. The parcel was sent back to JB. Contacted customer support to understand what happened. Dodged the question and said they'll resend once they locate the parcel. The address I gave JB was correct, so there must have been a mistake on their end. Asked if they could resend with Express delivery as a gesture, but they say I initially ordered with regular delivery, so not really. Sept 19: no news. Contacted customer support again to figure out what is going on. Warehouse still hasn't located the parcel. Customer support chased them. Asked again regarding what happened and if Express delivery was possible. First question was dodged again and they said they'll see what they can do re. delivery. Sept 22: Warehouse has located the parcel and resending. Sept 24: parcel received, although the box had some damage.
Might seem like a short delay, but the lack of communications, transparency, and total absence of apology didn't make my interaction with JB satisfactory. Would expect more from a leading retail brand. Giving two stars because the purchase was a good deal.
Terrible customer service
Useless company, their system seems designed to make it so hard to get a hold of anyone you give up. Faulty product return six days still no reply. Wasted several hours on online chat only to be kicked out of Que and sent to start. No direct complaints form all roads lead back to same original contact. Everything this company does is at the convenience of the company and at the expense of the customer, I am done, never again will I spend a thing with these clowns. If these company's were fined for wasting peoples time like this they might actually sort themselves out. Amazon leaves them for dead and their shops are cluttered and often dirty, online marketplace is a complete nightmare and should be banned. Quick to take your money though.

On this sunny day, Sunday September 15, 2025, my husband and I set out to find a new laptop to upgrade my very old Windows 7 device. In the computer department, we encountered Matt, who was incredibly helpful. I expressed interest in an HP laptop, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. I inquired about the display model and asked if it was available for purchase. Matt kindly offered to check on this for me and came back with an offer I couldn't refuse, which certainly brightened my mood! His extensive knowledge and ability to address all my questions and concerns were impressive. I truly appreciated Matt's courteous and efficient service throughout the process. Ordered online website clearly states: “You will receive your bonus gift voucher within 14 days from collection or delivery. Day 15 and still no email with gift card.
-Long delays via email and live chat.
-On chat, I was left on hold indefinitely. When I cleared cookies and reconnected under an alias, I was connected within 3 minutes—only to then be told I had reached “sales,” not customer support.
-This appears to be a tactic to redirect customers back into the queue without resolution.
-I am currently on the phone, waiting over 3 hours, moving only from position 11 to position 6.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience; and we'll get these out as quickly as we can
In conclusion, I would not make another purchase from JB online. It should be noted that had I pre-ordered instore, I would have received a gift card on the day of pick-up.

Brought tlc tv 65c655 from Jb hi fi fountain gate shopping centre when got tv ,it is freeze the screen when watch live steam movie and TLC Chanel , they said it not the tv ,it the internet provider , so rang jb hi fi spoke to store manager Cameron he said they can’t force the technician came out to get fix and when into store show then the video of it freezing, they said going get technician go out ,didnt happen ,get the run round with get technician not caming out because they seem to think that not problem with tv ,as do TLC head office in Springvale
Four week of trouble shooting and the run around that they said not problem with tv
Anyway they have been report to ACCC & To Custom affairs see how they like it

my laptop was faulty out of the box, i came back to the store 1 to 2 weeks later, there policy doesn't allow them to replace the unit, they have to send it back for assessment that could take up to a month. it doesn't seem fair, id purchase from a retailer that has a good policy for faulty items. please stay away from jb hifi when purchasing laptops

The delivery system is built for failure.. there system shows an item as delivered should mean the client has received the items in good condition….. this s not the case and the third party delivery says it’s out for delivery so right…. They don’t care I am still waiting for my property. For the most likely stolen. Items are electronics you would think they would care
