Poor Customer Service and Faulty Headphones

My experience with JBL customer service has been extremely disappointing. When I first called, the representative I spoke to struggled to understand English, which made it very difficult to explain the issue. My headphones — still under warranty — have developed a fault: they make a loud crackling noise when turned on.

After waiting some time, I called back and finally managed to speak to someone who spoke good English. I explained how frustrating and time-consuming the whole process had been, but unfortunately, the representative didn’t seem interested. I expected much better support from a company like JBL, especially when dealing with a product fault during the warranty period. So now they will send out a parcel label to return them to see if they can fix them if not replace them. I purchased them 03/02/2025.. Very poor service

They don't even use trust pilot

Ghost tune flex , for some reason they vibrate occasionally.
It is extremely off putting. That's bad enough but when I had both buds in my hand they started to make a high pitched noise.

They don't even respond on here. Rubbish.

Poor customer service

I own several JBL products and until recently hadn’t had any issues. Last year I purchased a new BAR 1300 soundbar to replace my BAR 9.1. I purchased from Peter Tyson with a 2 year warranty. Not long after receiving it, it experienced popping sounds from the subwoofer. I contacted Peter Tyson and they immediately organised a replacement. Fast forward a few months and the subwoofer on the replacement also suffered from the popping issues. Upon contacting Peter Tyson, they asked me to contact JBL (Harman) direct.

After a few back and forth emails, they asked me to return it for checking. Having long disposed of the packaging, they gave me a very long list of requirements for packaging the product to send back. I responded that I did not have packaging large enough to accommodate the bar, rear speakers and subwoofer. I asked for some to be sent and was refused this. I responded saying that the warehouse must surely have the correct packaging. Over a week later and I have no response.

Very unhelpful.

I’ve always found JBL products to be amazing but will think twice about ordering from this brand again.

Edit:

7 months later and absolutely no response from customer service. Dreadful service.

I wish I could give them 1 star at…

I wish I could give them 1 star at least 50 times… The headphones keep disconnecting all the time. They are hard to connect, and when you go to their website to look for answers, they blame your computer. But strangely enough, this only happens with these headphones—none of my other devices have this problem.

The last earplugs what they made are totally disaster. With tech screen. So all the time while you using them they press in your pocket and stomach or disconnect the call.. totally garbage. Never ever again...

Started losing audio over the year

Been a year since I've had my headphones and experienced the worst customer service and returning process that I just ended up not returning them, and my right headphone has since started losing it's audio. I've had an earring in my left ear so I haven't been able to wear the left piece, and if it's indicative of how long and well they last, they deteriorated quickly over the course of a year. As a comparison, i have to play the right headphone on max to hear it to an audible level, unlike the left which if I play at max hurts my ears, so if i have them both in i can't have them at max now.

Well not the best out the best

Well not the best out the best, though quality is very decent. I have something to compare with. The most powerful jbl head set against bose. Second one, all day, all night and on weekends. No hate toward Jbl. They have reasonable prices, nice looking headsets, just sound quality can’t be called professional. I used to go with some music pro’s, mb, they shifted my perception about the brand idk.

Love my JBL Clip 5 💙🔥

Just got myself the JBL Clip 5 in blue and honestly… I’m impressed! For such a small speaker the sound is crazy good clear, loud and even got a nice punch of bass. The design feels solid, battery lasts ages 10 hours is more than enough, and the clip makes it super handy to take everywhere. Perfect for walks, showers, or just chilling at home.

Also gotta say, customer service was amazing 🙌 super friendly and helpful, made the whole process so easy.

Overall I’m really happy with it stylish, portable, and sounds way bigger than it looks. 100% recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Do not buy unless you want to replace…

Do not buy unless you want to replace it after 12 months.
Had a JBL flip 6 as a birthday gift, which had a one year warranty. As soon as the warranty expired (month 13) It stopped working and simply wouldn't charge.
I tried several different power outlets and still no joy.
Then when I reached out to JBL they advised nothing could be done due to the warranty being expired by one month.
Fells like they are designed to go bang after the warranty is finished so you go and buy another one.
I will not buy a JBL again. If you wonder why they are significantly cheaper to purchase than other well known competitors this is why.
Back to BOSE for me!

JBL CUST SERV HATES MY EMAIL👿

I sent a valid email to JBL but they responded in a unfriendly and evil manner. My question was:
Why didn't they make the JBL PARTYBOX 510 first before they made the 520?
I tried both 310 and 320 but liked the 310 much more because it had more treble.
I tried the new PARTYBOX 520 but it had too much bass.
Why didn't JBL make the PARTYBOX 510 first.
Unfortunately the JBL PARTYBOX 510 doesn't exist which l find really annoying and unprofessional. 👎😠👎😠👎😠👎😠👎😠👎😠👎

I ordered a set of IRX DJ speakers and…

I ordered a set of IRX DJ speakers and after 2 weeks, the order hasn’t shipped and they couldn’t even provide a tracking number or carrier. I had to cancel the order. They may do OK shipping headphones or small speakers, but do NOT attempt to order larger or PRO products thru this site. You won’t get them.

I usualy love JBL/HK audio products

I usualy love JBL/HK audio products, love the sound
'picture' they provide for headphones, and usually for wireless airbuds. However, my experience with their support form my UA unlimited wireless airbud's made me want to scream. Service and help was substandard to say the least. So lesson seem to be, if they work they are great, but one problem and the jokes on you.

worst headset in my whole entire life. they do not work in any of the ways a headset should work. it turns on by its self, it turns off by its self, it connects to wrong audio source. it does everythign a headset shouldnt. the only way it works if u smash to the ground. ALl these features for it not to work is crazy work
