When I put them on
When I put them on, as soon as I have tried to tight the lacers, one of the side lacer's ear just popped out showibg it was not properly fitted and it cannot be fitted back.
Poor excuse of a heavy duty safety boots.

Really good 2nd time I have been too this website for boots. Work on sites and have no complaints lasted about 8 months and I am hard on footwear. Only took about 3 days to be delivered to my house grate service keep up the good work

As a professional Engineer I rely on the quality of my safety equipment. I moved away from JCB work boots a few years ago due to poor stitching but admittedly they do receive some harsh conditions. I moved onto other brands which to be honest were worse.
As I wanted a specific style of slightly higher cut than normal I have returned this time back to JCB
My new boots have arrived and they have obviously not had a full QC check on the plastic side zip. Initially the zip would only go up half way as the plastic sprues on the teeth were still evident from manufacturing . After several attempts I can now get the zip fully working and are now acceptable so If this is not checked what else isn't that is safety critical.

For all our workwear we use standard sizing which is generally a regular fit, unfortunately, sizing will wary across different brands within the industry depending on which fit they wish to use.
