Awful experience

Awful experience. I can’t say much about the work they did as of yet, it has only just been done. All seems ok for now, but had I known the slander I would publicly receive on social medias for simply asking if they needed a hand in the rain, or seeing if they know what is wrong with the car, I would never have used the company.

They were friendly enough in person, but then posted how they wish we would have ‘pissed off’. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Stay away!

Biggest cowboys in the business

This company poses as the best in the business at DPF solutions and are completely mobile, covering the whole UK. The best in business is far from the truth.

When my car entered limp mode due to a DPF problem I decided they talk the talk lets give them a go.

They requested cash and due to the nature of the job I obliged. Following their work I test drove the car and all seemed okay. They left and I thought I was back on the road.

Later that day, when accelerating, my car went limp and the engine management light came on again. I messaged them and they advised there must've been a sensor they missed and to clear the fault and it wont return or cause any issues. To be fair, the fault light did not return on the dash but consistently after OBD scans.

The accelerating and into limp mode continued. I had to turn the car off and on in order to resolve this constantly. I asked if this could be due to the work, JC Remaps denied. Then my car had issues with constant jerking (almost as if i was breaking) whilst driving. This was not at certain revs or speeds just completely random. Again I brought this up to JC remaps and they denied it was their work and did not offer once to come and look at the issues themselves.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and started finding resolutions for a potential fuel issue which is what I thought this could be. Eventually after exhausting all avenues I took the car to a different garage.

They looked at the car and advised they don't think the DPF has been touched and there was a lot of back pressure with on the car (which shouldnt be there following a DPF solution). They then advised not to drive it and leave it with them.

I then went back to JC Remaps to voice my concern and again they denied any of their work causing my problems, and gave a method on how to find the work they did on the DPF which I relayed to the new garage. Once again no offer to actually come and assist me themselves.

Once the garage began work, they found the DPF sensor was completely melted. A sensor right next to the DPF can on my car (How on earth could that of been missed). Following the method set out by JC Remaps, the garage found their area of work in the DPF, in which they have not done much if anything. The DPF was not gutted, causing the back pressure, which wouldve subsequently caused the jerking and the melted sensor would've been what was causing my limp mode. The garage then did the job properly (Thankfully) and my car is now back on the road.

I then went to JC Remaps and addressed the issues that were caused by their shoddy work. I was met with denial and allegations that the garage who have now fixed the car are cowboys. They said I voided warranty using them (no warranty was ever mentioned) and that I should've brought this up to them so they can sort, which I did, multiple times.

Eventually it became clear they were not going to accept responsibility or help me, so I requested they turn their facebook reviews on so I can leave one. They did do so, and once I had finished it, i was blocked by them so I couldn't publish. And that tells you everything you need to know because they wouldnt block me if they thought they had done nothing wrong.

I am now £1500 out of pocket, so do not use these cowboys unless you want a half done job.
