JD Gyms - Birmingham Reviews 

Still not able to get in I've been joined now for about a week and I like to go around 1am and I can't get in. I've tried calling them in the day no one answers and I've sent email no one has responded. This is terrible

I have had a very positive experience at JD Gyms Birmingham. The gym is well equipped and has a great atmosphere. I especially appreciate that the women-only gym area has been expanded, which is fantastic as it allows more space and access to equipment. I really value being able to train comfortably without being interrupted or asked how many reps I have left.
The staff members are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. Their professionalism and support make it a motivating and welcoming place to train.

Not be scamming

Many machines are out of order. To much dark inside and changing room is too dirty and small.

I don’t like how in the females sections there’s not all the machines no leg press or hip abduction ETC. There used to be most machines there so no need to go upstairs but now every-thing’s moved around so it’s not as comfortable for me to go where the men are to find machines

Had technical fault at the door to enter pressed buzzer waited a while no show. Staff entered said im sorry someone will be with you shortly but im late for my shift! The door access keeps giving you ongoing problems.
There is no friendly or helpful staff visible. You have to look for them or wait when they eventually turn up.
Lack of cleanliness - empty bottles left inbetween running machine gap and very dusty
There is no upper body machines in ladies area.
Atmosphere quiet. No music and tv is on silent with no subtitles and nothing entertaining to hear or see
Locker room smells bad and suana room woods to sit on looked dirty

Increasing the price and lower the hygiene and cleanliness is not fair

The gym has improved loads since the refurb, and the staff are friendly

Been going to this gym for a good few years now and I love it. Members and staff both very friendly. The manager I believe her name is Anna has been doing a great job since starting and really has the members best interests at heart.

Location is perfect for me 5 minutes away from my home and the gym is very spacious with great equipment for lifting and running.

The new equipment that was introduced has been fantastic very spacious also great gym

The manager is the best thing about the place, if we need anything all we need to do is ask and it gets done

There are only bikes, treadmill and stairmaster in ladies area. There is no upper body machines. And majority of bikes are out of order.

Good experience, I was having issues to get in and out took me quite a while to scan the code. Also no wall ball station? As a HYROX rock star need that wall ball station.

Not a lot of equipment in the women’s only area. The weights aren’t heavy enough. Not a very clean environment. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend

Experience could be made better with the cleanliness of the woman’s toilets and the sound system in the classes , the music cuts out throughout every class which is very frustrating.
