Shocking costomer service haven't gave me a refund aswell they cancelled my membership and the manager said ill get a refund now its been 15 days still no refund they evern went agenst there own policy and this refund they haven't issued me is causing me stress need compensation aswell and a full refund

Yes, JD Gyms costs more than other local gyms, but the equipment is new and well-maintained, the staff are nice, and they've just refurbed the entire place and added a sauna. Plenty of space, even when busy. Highly recommend.

My New Gym, my first gym session of 💥🎆2026🎇💥 was on 21st of Jan. It has soooo much space in here😍…super clean and tidy🥳. Spoke to the manager and another member of staff and told them i am a content creator and i asked about their recording rules and they were very friendly and informative, the manager even said that if i need some more empty space then let her know before hand and she will sort me out.😇

I left a google review and one of the videos i uploaded got 4k views, i also made a venue review video on instagram and tagged Jdsports and jdgyms in it, with an offer i sent to both those accounts if they wanted to share my reel with the “invite collaborator”instagram reel feature but they didnt respond unfortunately.

I wish there was a steam room in the gym but the sauna is very nice so I look forward to my future sessions🤭

It’s a good environment of like minded people. Even though there are very physically strong individuals there, from my experience they are all very humble. This gym has a very healthy culture which makes a new person in the gym feel like they can thrive in there.

Gym is okay just needs to be more organised machines or all over the place by the time you find a machine your pump has gone

Not young people friendly. Been going for about 2 weeks and had spoken to staff there before, none of them questioned my age and so it was fine. It was only until a worker had told me I didn't "look 16" and I couldn't come back without an ID. 27 pounds on a membership for nothing. Don't bother.

Wheelchair friendly. Friendly staff.
Update after a lovely member of staff showed them me: There is wheelchair accessible toilet with a shower. Makes things so much easier for me.
Would 100% recommend this gym

I went to the gym around 9pm as its Ramadan and was told by the staff the sauna closes at 10pm. I finished my session at 9.40 and headed to the sauna, a few people were already in there and at 9.45 lights went out. Was told later they close the sauna 15 mins before 10pm so the staff can clean the changing rooms. People were not happy about this, they should have left the sauna on until 10pm, as the cleaning staff if there until 9pm to 5am.

Don't get me started on the filth that was on the floor in the changing rooms by the showers and sauna. Took a pic and video and will be showing the staff manager on my next visit. It's not the cleaners fault as they are doing a good job but they are under staffed and need another cleaner during 7 - 8pm.

Classes are fantastic and the new sauna is amazing

Don’t get me wrong I love Brierley Hill Gym, but the only thing is the changing rooms!! we have a sauna in the Ladies and the men’s gym and there's not enough benches to put your items on to get dressed when you come out of the shower or the sauna… there are no lockers in there so you have to go back into the main changing rooms to get dressed. There are bags clothes everywhere I’ve been told it’s like it’s in the men’s also… I’ve asked many times if this can be resolved and nothing seems to be. All I’m asking is for another bench is that too much to ask?

Mostly good. New equipment and weights are welcome. Toilets are not cleaned often enough though.
Although , to be fair there are some animals that cant seem to use them properly.
Music is not too loud either, everyone doesn't listen anyway, most have their own choice on.

Returned to JD Gym a couple of weeks ago great place to go, new equipment and sauna pleasant atmosphere, spotlessly clean.

Decent range of equipment - recent upgrade to include new weighted machines. The PTs are approachable and do a great job. Big shout out to Jacob and George for their effort in putting on the classes. Top drawer fellas.

Really enjoy the classes. The instructors are great (especially Jacob) and it’s good that JD regularly invest in new equipment and keep the place looking good.

I have been a member for
this gym for five years
Recently the gym has had an overhaul in gym equipment and a sauna
All work done without too much disturbance to the members
Equipment really good
Sauna is so relaxing
Only downside is the heating and air conditioning is not good when the weather is cold or hot

Lovley experience the sauna is amazing always clean and comfortable in there
