closed road
terrific traffic
journey took 50 minutes when I had 2 miles to the gym? horrific
Washroom facilities open too late. Early starters before 5am struggle and have to stretch till 6am
So much equipment, don't get judged for being there, staff are really helpful and always on hand if needed

The fact you’re paying a membership and unable to phone a number if there are issues but have to email and wait two weeks for a response and when there is a response it’s unhelpful and then have to wait a further two weeks for a response.
Gyms are not the cleanest & air conditioning is poor with no air conditioning in some of the studios where the classes are.
There are also 4 stair steppers which are very popular and there are sometimes a wait to get on and there are times when I’ve left the gym unable to use the stair stepper

In the First day I requested for my cancellation because of my life routine I have to use gym after 11 pm so I can not use changing room and shower.
So still nobody accept my request and even till today I didn't use the gym and I moved to the gym group...
The customer service is awful
I have no clue about the gym because I never use it

Attended Dave's spin class. It was fantastic, as a newbie spinner he is very supportive, helps you set your bike up right. Great music and lots of encouragement. You go at your own pace but the vibe in the class is amazing. If you're new to spin I'd recommend giving this class a go.

I rejoined this week after a long injury so was happy I only got charged £15 this month . I love the vibe and no hassles in there , good atmosphere . It does need an update of equipment to be fair but I do get a good pump with what's available . Happy to be back there and obtaining my goals

Just a nasty place with dubious behaviours going on both inside and outside at night , tired of the tick tock girls who have nothing about them except how they look , overall just a bottom of the pile kind of place !

A youg fit genrleman took us in and allowed us to wander around'. Then cam the site manager Rochelle who was very friendly, helpful and explained the procedure for registration. she also booked a day for induction.

I’ve been going jd for over a year, all staff are friendly and the classes are great especially Kelly’s class. I attend LBT and bootcamp and honestly if you want to feel motivated and work hard these classes are the best. Kelly will always encourage and motivate you to push yourself to get the best results. I look forward to the classes every week.

I’ve had such a great experience at this gym, but what really makes it stand out is Kellie, the PT. I go to all of her classes and she is honestly amazing. She’s incredibly supportive, always encouraging, and genuinely goes above and beyond to help me improve my fitness and stay motivated.
I especially love her LBT classes, she always makes me feel comfortable, no matter my fitness level, and she takes the time to help me if I’m struggling with anything. She explains exercises clearly, checks your form, and makes sure everyone feels included and confident. The classes are challenging but really fun, and I always leave feeling better and proud of what I’ve done.
If you’re thinking about joining or trying a class, I’d highly recommend Kellie. If she wasn’t at JD gym I probably would go to another gym that’s how much I love her classes!

Been coming to this gym now for a year, and started classes around April last year. I do JD Circuit with Kellie on Mondays and most recently X Fit on a Tuesday (again with Kellie). I also started PT Kettlebell classes last year with Kellie and have really noticed a change in my body since doing these. Then LBT in a Thursday-and yes you've got it-with Kellie! She is really knowledgeable and is always around to ensure your form is correct and gives advice on nutrition too! She doesn't have to do this; but she does! I wouldn't train at any other gym or with any other trainers! Kelly is boss!! Nikki F xXx

Benches are starting to look tatty. What are plans for new equipment?
Changing areas and showers need a proper deep clean.
This nonsense about swiping in and then if you have forgotten something, you can’t go and get it because you can’t only swipe in once. That’s stupid it’s 2026, get a grip and sort it out.

Overall a fantastic gym, staff are all lovely, classes are really good. Everyone is very helpful and kind to new faces.
But for me, I give credit where credit is due for one instructor in particular. I attended the dance fit classes led by instructor Emily, and I had the time of my life. I haven’t danced before so I thought I’d give the class a go. Whilst it’s fast paced and the routines were of a professional standard, Emily made this workout accessible to those who needed the option, and pushed those who needed a challenge. She is a kind, talented young lady, who made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped into the room. Emily said that it takes time to learn a routine - just like riding a bike, when you’ve got it, you’ve got it! Emily made a point of saying that as long as you’re moving in a way that makes you feel good, then that’s all that matters, which took any pre-class nerves or pressures I was feeling away completely. I wasn’t expecting to be the next best dancer, I went in for a fun, cardio workout, and came out feeling like I’d just performed in a dance show. Emily has this incredible talent of making people feel empowered. I was on the wrong leg and going left instead of right, and she still cheered me, along with everyone else on. Her main priority is for you to HAVE FUN, and I very much had a ball. Thank you Emily. Xx

I’m new to the gym and went to the 9:30am Tuesday Legs, Bums and Tums class and honestly loved it. It really helped me and made me feel like I could actually do this.
The next week I had to go to the 5:30pm class instead and it was a completely different experience. The instructor was unbelievably rude. She told me I wasn’t doing things properly and basically said I should leave if I couldn’t do it. I’m a beginner an I thought classes were meant to help you learn, not make you feel judged and embarrassed. I left feeling really uncomfortable and honestly pretty upset. It’s knocked my confidence a lot.
I won’t be going back after that, which is a shame because my first class was great. I’ll be looking for a different gym where beginners are actually supported.
