I didn't enjoy Jenkins service at all. In fact one of their drivers in particular is rude and unpleasant and lacks what you might call road sense and any knowledge of the highway code.
At 8:05 on the Weybridge Road today 19/8/24, there is a merge in turn just after the junction of Link Road. I and another car are proceeding up the right hand lane. Some 60 metres before the merge point a Jenkins coach begins pulling over into the outside lane of dual carriageway. The coach the blocks the entire dual carriageway by straddling both lanes well in advance of the merge point, causing a tailback in both lanes .
I can't understand the motivation for this multiple studies indicate that merge in turns speed up traffic flow and the highway code says: In congested road conditions do not change lanes unnecessarily. Merging in turn is recommended but only if safe and appropriate when vehicles are travelling at a very low speed, e.g. when approaching road works or a road traffic incident. It is not recommended at high speed.
At no point does it say, block a merge in turns if you feel like it, block a merge in turn if you feel hard done by that too many cars have gone past you, block a merge in turn if you had an argument with your mum this morning and are a bit sad, block a merge in turn if every time you look at what life gave you in the trouser department you are very disappointed.
JE14 KNS 8:05 am on 19/1/2024 drive down Weybridge Road and turned left onto Portmore Park Road you are a huge discredit to coach drivers everywhere and humanity in general. I curse you and your family for a thousand generations to have an itch in the middle of your back you cannot quit reach at least twice a week and to stand in a plug once a month in the dark .

In conclusion if you would like the lives of your loved ones put at risk, obnoxious driving is a must and feel that you too own the road also then this is the company to hire!

I have been using jeakins and lianne coaches for my theatre trips for many years... they have always accommodated all our needs especially when we have wheelchair users.
There communication is great and there very reliable.
The drivers are outstanding and anything we ask is never any trouble.
Highly recommend this company.

I worked with Andrew and David for many years as their company was handling all the logistics of our incredible busy sports department.
