This is strictly about that Jersey Mike on Winchester near Hackscross in Memphis, Tennessee. The first 10 or 15 visits the sandwiches were neatly made and full of flavor. Even the staff was pleasant... See more

One poor store
I use two jersey mikes locally.
The Malta ny one is outstanding….helpful, efficient, friendly and also very busy.
The Amsterdam ny one which inspires this review and only that one here was terrible all 3 visits. The employees stood around, did not acknowledge customers and it was not busy at all. So there was no excuse. One other time order wrong. Third time someone in front of me livid because of big graduation order that was all mixed up. So beware of that store. But I think not typical of most of them.
Not worth the hype
I saw all these commercials about how great theses places where and finally a chance to eat at one in cedar rapids, iowa....wife asked to have hers toasted, she was told no. Ok then in ordered and was hoping to get raw onions on the sub. I got handed the 6 inch sub and no onions. While she agreed on a club, I asked about the raw onions and was told I couldn't get them cause I have a hot sandwich. The quality and taste was no better them subway. Price was to high, my meal, just sub was $11.33 with tax and hers was $10.99. I'm sorry to say this, the taste and quality was not worth the hype.

Poor sanitation and didn’t want to heat up my roast beef. When he finally did I told him it was better that way and he said yeah, the roast beef tastes like clay unless it’s heated up. He said they don’t offer to toast it because it makes the line too long. There is no contact number for the store or corporate tells me they could care less.
I have to eat gluten free
I have to eat gluten free. Not by choice.
I ordered grinders today for everyone at work
The bread that they gave me was so very dry. I could not eat it. Only ate the cold cuts.
To bad because my last order with them I really enjoyed by sub

The staff is great when I got the sub I tasted bread more then the meat when did they get so cheap on the meat went 2 times thought the first time was because they just opened no they forgot the meat got the chicken filly,no need to go back
Gouging-Overpriced
The price for a veggie sub was double the price of Publix, nothing special. A large veggie at JM Is $16.95 and a large vegie at Publix is $8.25 -ROBBERY
The service was excellent
The service was excellent, the sub was delicious and the overall experience was just way more than I was expecting. The staff clearly enjoyed their jobs, the manager knows what she’s doing and if I didn’t say it before, the food was really good. I was super impressed with how clean everything was and how quick my order was filled. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Great service and great experience.
We order #8 and the sandwich is always good at our Indiana, PA store. The staff is friendly and always
make a good sandwich the way we order.

My sandwich was cold and had no onion and cheese it was more bread than meat. So I think I will stick to jimmy j. I just wasted 21.00
They think they're so special but…
They think they're so special but they're not! Their subs are very small and very expensive! A 7-in sub is like $15! wtf? Quite honestly I find them flavorless. If I'm going to pay premium price I'm going to eat at Penn Station. Seriously they need to make their prices reasonable, this is not a reasonable price for a small sub
Now I remember why we never ordered any…
Now I remember why we never ordered any sandwiches from Jersey Mikes - first of all they are $$$$ and their sizes they offer are weird; either mini or 'regular' which isn't really enough to split w/two people or the next size up is 'giant' and it comes with a GIANT $$$ also! So what if they use 'upscale meats'.... so does Publix and Harris Teeter and they offer days when their sandwiches are reduced prices - so why would anyone NOT go there instead of JM's!!! Rip off!
Got two big kahuna cheese steak subs at…
Got two big kahuna cheese steak subs at Harborcreek Pa. Store which smelled out of this world. Bag was soaked as were the subs also in paper bags. Took first bite and large piece of bone. Second third and fourth bite, also bone slivers. Very un-nerving. I overchewed to be safe and found slivers of bone all thru the sub. Not going back. I have one more my wife won’t eat because of this. No excuse to find it all thru the sub. It was delicious and oil covered but poor on processing. Hear this manager?
Don't get me wrong
Don't get me wrong, I love the sandwiches. But what I just can't abide by is the person making the sandwich performing unsanitary actions even though wearing gloves. They shouldn't be wiping their nose, face, hair, while making a sandwich. And that's after I asked for fresh gloves. I just walk out at that point.
When Jersey Mikes first opened on dodge…
When Jersey Mikes first opened on dodge street. I spoke to the owner about gluten free (as I am celiac) he told me they do gluten free on the back counter, separate toppings, knife, cutting board etc.. (I believe he wad also opening the north liberty location).. visited a few times and it was exactly that. Back counter, separate topings... visited this summer and was told no as it wad after a certain time if day so everything was done on the front counter, used same toppings as when topping gluten breads. He made my sandwich ad I mentioned it needed ti be separate. He then threw the dandwich across the back and into the trash. I left with no nothing and never returned to that location. I was told he was the manager there by the check out guy. Now that Asbury opened another store we gave it a try. However when I asked about gluten free preperation I was told the dont make it separate on theback counter justbwipe the counter down and change gloves. I asked about separate toppings and was told no and that they use same tippings as when they handle gluten breads. He told me theres bread everywhere so not gluten free... So we left without getting anything. Very upset as even your website states safe for celiac but maybe more research and education needs to happen on your end as you CAN'T take toppings out if the same place that you out your hands in to grab toppings for gluten breads!!!!! Thats gluten free 101... very disappointing for both dubuque locations..
We have eaten a lot of different sub…
We have eaten a lot of different sub sandwiches. Most are great, some are okay but what we had from Jersey Mike's today is a definite zero stars! I honestly believe they nailed the bun to a board and threw the ingredients at it and what stuck is what was sent to us. A 3-year-old's finger painting is neater than the sandwich was. It's obvious that the person who made these does not like their job very much. It's my understanding someone paid the owner 8 billion dollars which I would be asking for a refund! To anybody that reads this do not order from this company.
Awful
Awful. As a vegetarian told what cheese I could or could not have on my sandwich. And your all your cheese tastes like plastic. This is the one in westchase Florida.
meat on sub hard to find
meat on sub hard to find, way overpriced, subway has twice the meat at a lower price
