Excellent teacher with a good balance of chatting + grammar
We started with a lot of grammar initially while I was still getting the basics down; probably about 70% grammar, 30% casual conversation.
Jesús' is teaching style is very effective and as the months went on the grammar/conversation ratio swung the other way as most of the core concepts started to stick.
Jesús is also extremely personable, so the conversations are flow easily and are interesting. I'd definitely say I made the most progress with him compared to any Spanish teacher I ever had before.

Grammar expert… and fun!
Jesus is an excellent language tutor. He a grammar expert and very good at explaining it in a clear way. He’s also is fun to chat with and his relaxed manner makes the sessions not intimidating. Highly recommend!

Best way to learn Spanish!
Jesús offers personalized lessons in Spanish that are awesome. Because he is fluent in YOUR language, he is able to explain complex concepts of Spanish grammar/usage in a way that makes them easily understandable. He is gifted in making complex concepts understandable. Conversations focus on real life situations not on stilted "made up" scenarios. This is absolutely the BEST way to learn. I can't recommend him enough!!
