Fake reviews, outsourcing, lying
Fake reviews, outsourcing, lying.
We realised after being charged and the work 'done' that everything they sold to us on the website attached to this trustpilot is a complete lie. In their FAQ they specifically state that they do not outsource. The company that came to replace our fencing was a tree company.
They charged us 250 pound for 3 panel replacements. Fair enough, it costs 100 pound to get the three panels. They did NOT tell us when quoting that this didn't include removal of the old panels. The man with the tree company told me 'we don't do that.'
We called back the line we got the quote from on the above site that promises excellent service, no outsourcing, reliable and trustworthy quotes, and were told in effect that our business wasn't important because the profit margin was 100 quid. He said it was our fault we didn't ask about the removal. How are we supposed to get rid of 7x7foot panels ourselves? We haven't got a truck or van and you can't tip them at the council tip.
The man told us it would be 25 pound to get them removed and, under duress and wanting to be done with it, we agreed. He comes back and tells us the outsourced company won't do it for less than 30 'and it must be cash.'
Digging into the website, they say they have over 30 5-star trustpilot reviews. There are none here. Not a single review. There are dozens of 'JH Landscaping' companies, all of which have a different website, different contact numbers, and different promises. Do not be scammed by these people.
A 250 pound job might not have been much to these guys, but it is a lot to our family. We were treated second rate and deserved better. They rescheduled on us the day of the appointment after the time they were supposed to arrive, and then had the audacity to treat us like this. If you are supposed to be giving comprehensive quotes, the buyer expects that everything has been covered in that quote. Why would I pay a company to do a job just to have a bunch of work to do after the fact? Unbelievable.
