Item was supposed to be delivered today but nothing, absolutely no communication, the telephone number is uncontactable. This is a scam website, and so is its sister website bossbuildingsupplies.co.uk where I made the order from. I will now be submitting a section 75 claim via my bank to claim back the money.

Ordered some items totalling almost £200 on the 10th August for a specified chosen slot and paid for the goods, have had a back and forth via email from the 15th August 2024 till now and on going 2nd Sept 2024. On the 16th August said the order was transfered to the refunds team as no items were delivered although they apologised about any confusions with the delivery time slots but still have had no money back in my account. My next step is obviously getting in contact with my bank to deal with this and send their team all emails and screenshots.
Would probably give 2 stars if they refunded in a timely manner and had a telephone number. I wouldn't recommend using and if you do decide to use please look up the company on government companies house for a broader insight.

If you click the jmd website url link at top of the page not in the reviews it takes you to a different jmd site from America, this is false.

I have not been able to get any information from them about an order. No answers all day to emails and cannot find a phone number to ring. The delivery day was today. I am self employed and so stayed in for the day, and no delivery and no reply to my emails.

This is the second time I have used JMD. The first time was a big project to remove my lawn and lay paving. It was a complicated job because it was part of my garden landscaping. It needed under paving pipes and lighting cables plus cobbled stones surrounding the project. Added to that I was called away and so was not physically present whilst work was underway. JMD sent me videos and regular updates via texts or calls. I returned to find a perfect job!
Recently I had a small project to incorporate more irrigation tubes under mortar. Again John arrived exactly on time and did great work. That’s two jobs both completed to a really professional standard and at a very competitive rate. 5 Stars!

Its only been 5months waiting for a refund. Just 2 cans of spray that were never delivered back in October 22. I was promised it would take 2 weeks.

Awful. I've had to claim via my credit card as my doors did not arrive and it is impossible to get through via phone and emails are not answered.

I wish i had read the reviews before ordering as I can only agree with ALL the negative points raised.

ive bought two doors and they refuse to respond to my calls and emails for a refunds for goods returned. Truly unprofessional and by all appearances, dishonest.

I ordered doors for a full house from this company in October last year and still waiting on a refund. They emailed quick to say they would take longer than the estimated time and how did I want to proceed, I chose to be refunded and I’m still waiting. Multiple calls and emails and ZERO response. This company is a SCAM DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

2 bulk bags of 10mm gravel ordered on the 20th November and a chosen delivery date of 24th November.
Now at the 19th December and after numerous voice mail messages and emails unanswered (no one has ever answered the phone no matter what time of day during working hours) I still have no gravel and no response.
A truly shocking service...use this company at your own risk!!!

Placed an order for 2 packs of bricks with JMD 16th Nov 2022. Still waiting for a delivery. Sent Numerous e mails and after a number of phone calls not replied to decided to pay them a visit. CLOSED SIGN NO ONE AROUND.

UDATE - company able to rely via trust pilot but still not replied to my multiple emails. Avoid at all costs.

Placed an order for 2 large ton bags of sand 4 weeks ago for a significant cost.

No sign of the sand yet.

I have emailed multiple times with no response. Unable to speak to anyone on the phone - automated message for weeks saying they are short staffed and cannot man the phones.

Judging by other reviews, the company is either in trouble or a scam company.

Next step for us is to issue court proceedings to get our money back.

Ordered and paid for bulk bag of sub base. No confirmation of order being proceed despite taking money. No response to any email or chases (phones are not answered. The delivery confirmation is deliberately loose on their site but this has been nearly a month with no communication. It's times like this you want to put trust in businesses but JMD are to be avoided at all costs.

Have been trying to get hold JMD Trading since we placed a order on 14 Nov 22 for a Fakro Roof Window delivery stated 3 to 5 days now 1 Dec 22 been trying on phones on emails no reply very poor service.

Still no joy had to order from another place and got within 2 days now would like a refund avoid by all costs

Do not buy from this company.

Delivery was supposed to be last week for some gravel, not heard A THING from them. Been trying to contact them for days (as they’re holding £70 of my money), no responses to my emails, not answering the phone, no other ways to contact them.

Basically thieves.

DO NOT USE! Have had the most awful experience with this company.

We bought some decking from their online store. Initially the shipping of the decking was delayed, meaning we had to pay builders for extra days as they waited to unload it when it arrived. Then when it arrived the quality of the wood was very poor and our builder advised us to return it. We realised that JMD had sold us very cheap decking from our local Travis Perkins at a massive mark up (over twice what it cost at Travis Perkins).

We returned the wood to Travis Perkins and got a receipt of return. JMD assure us they would refund us the full amount, but 2 months later we are still waiting to be payed the money. We are now in the process of starting legal action with our solicitor to recoup the money. Absolute nightmare, avoid using this company at all costs!

Had to write a review for these guys because of all the stick they seem to be getting online. Placed an order for building materials on the Sunday, called support on the Monday to chase it up, they looked into it for me and were super helpful, order was delivered by the Thursday. People need to understand that the supply chain can be difficult at times post-covid but this family business is doing the best they can and all the online stick is a bit unfair, based on my experience.

No stock. Get your money quick but very slow to refund.

Try your best to AVOID. Order process slow, dispatch is slow, refund is very very very slow with notorious nonsense and opaque restocking charge. Waiting for my refund over a month but no response.

Paid for a shed on-line, phoned & e-mailed for updates finally told they could not supply but took 4 weeks for refund via PayPal. Avoid.

Ive never dealt with a company that talks so much sh@t . My delivery was meant to arrive on the 16th then got changed to the 17th and then the 18th still no delivery and some smart ass pr@ck saying he didn't give a monkeys about my £63 when i asked for a refund . They don't even deserve 1 star . I only wished i had read the reviews before i placed an order i would avoid this company like the plague
