Amazing job completed for us. Minerva is such a tricky worktop type and after being let down massively by another company (breakages and poor cuts), I felt instantly like I could trust Joe to get the job done. I am sure it wasn't easy fixing what someone else had done but I couldn't be more pleased with the job. Will be using them again for any future projects!

Really pleased with our Slabtech waterfall island. Joe did a great job, was very clear in asking us what we wanted and was thoroughly professional.

Joe just installed some solid wood worktops for us and did a great job. Joins are seamless and he worked very efficiently.

Coming back due to hob not sitting deep enough but that is prob due to us not being able to fit until the job is completed.

Asked them to cut out and put grooves for an undermount sink in slabtech. Did the job but the grooves aren't angled (getting deeper) so water sits there, left a mess afterwards too. I called to ask about the grooves and was told a lie about that only being done by manufacturers. Could not be bothered to argue, but I know it can be done by altering the depth and wideness of cut out. Would not use again.

After having Joe recommended by a builder I know I got in touch to provide a quote and had a very quick response from him. The price was very competitive and he also recommended a company to purchase the worktops from, also getting discount with the use of the company’s name. They worked around my timetable to fit me in and done an amazing job. They were clean, fast and reliable. Will definitely recommend and use in the future.

I have just had a Minerva worktop fitted by joe and his colleague today they were very tidy cleaning up as they went along and I couldn’t be happier with the work that was carried out finished to a very high standard the joins are as good as invisible I would definitely recommend to anyone else having a Minerva work top fitted and the price of the work was very competitive

If you are looking to have a worktop installed then look no further. I would without doubt recommend these guys. From the moment that they arrived we felt assured that nothing was going to be problem and that our expensive worktops were going to be in good hands. They listened to what we wanted and how we would like it to be fitted. Within no time at all three lengths were fitted with invisible joins. Everything was cleaned up inside and out and the floor hovered everywhere that they had been. They even gave detailed instructions on how to care for the worktops. They were very polite and respectful of our home and surroundings. I would without any issues recommend them to anybody.

Exercise real caution with this company. They arrived and proceeded to cut the Apollo Slabtech worktop in our newly completed and decorated kitchen and in the process covered walls, ceiling drawers and everything in thick,clingy fine worktop dust...we have a large garden but they couldnt be bothered to go outside. Then they said they had finished and left without cleaning up. The mess was incredible - they left a thick (maybe 2mm deep in places) of worktop dust that was everywhere. This took us some 5 hours to vacuum, wipe down and clean.

Summary of faults that had to be addressed:
1. Joins had gaps that would accumulate dirt
2. Exposed joints had glue globules on the bottom (not sanded off)
3. Worktops were not affixed to the island with anything (just left held in place by glue that had dripped down the join)
4. Sink was not sealed in (this would let water flow into the cabinet below)
5. Razor sharp corners left in several locations
6. The mess...this was unbelievable and they didnt make any attempt to clean anything.

All I can say is exercise real caution if, having read this review, you still decide to go with this company. If you have absolutely no choice then I suggest that you first thoroughly educate yourself on correct installations and then stand over them and insist on them doing it properly. You have been warned!

Your response does not hold true with our memory!

We had to call you back as the work was so substandard and you returned 5 days later, (under protest) and only after my insistence. You may recall that we involved the manufacturer of the worktop on correct installation and you were adamant that they too were wrong and that you were right.

I stand by my original advice to others to exercise real caution before contracting with you for work.

Fantastic job! We were quoted 2 days by someone else-finished in 4 hours! Slightly pricey but if you want grafters and a quick and good finish then would recommend! Happy customer! 😀

We are very happy with our new Minerva island worktop, the installation has been completed to a high standard, my only negative comment, be prepared to have dust pollution to your home / site.

Joe Sousa expertly fitted our Mistral worktop and cleared up afterwards. Highly recommended.

I hired joe after being showed his Facebook page by a friend, it was clear from the pictures that he knew what he was doing. I hired him to put granite in my kitchen. It was quite large but he did it extremely fast!!!! The pictures don't begin to show how high a quality his work is. I am glad I hired him, he was clean and careful. I'm over the moon with my worktops and will be suggesting Joe to all my friends.
