Dear Kateryna,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We truly appreciate your recognition of our team’s efforts, timely responses, and transparent communication during the initial stages of your application. Your feedback is vital as we continuously work to improve our service, especially in complex, time-sensitive matters like immigration.
We understand your frustration regarding the delay in rescheduling your August 6th appointment. We want to assure you that our team was highly engaged in trying to resolve this; we completed eight follow-ups with the immigration office after your request. Unfortunately, as is often the case with complex legal applications, the government office sometimes initiates internal checks (especially when a reschedule is requested) which can cause unforeseen and extensive delays beyond our control. We apologize for the resulting stress this uncertainty caused you.
Regarding the sudden closure of your permanent residency case and the confusion around the naturalization (Einbürgerung) application, this is where a critical misalignment occurred. The immigration office informed us on October 28th that they had closed the permanent residency file because you had independently commenced the citizenship application process. These two processes are legally exclusive and cannot run concurrently. Had we been informed of your intention to apply for citizenship, we would have immediately advised you against it to protect the continuity of your permanent residency case. Because this step was taken without our knowledge, the immigration office was obligated to close the existing case, which was outside of our agency’s control.
We do take full ownership of the system issues and internal confusion you experienced, particularly regarding the duplicate accounts and the necessary handoff when you transitioned to a private payment. This is an area where our internal coordination and system hygiene must improve, and we sincerely apologize for that extra layer of difficulty it added to your experience.
We are committed to using your feedback to strengthen our case continuity and internal communication protocols. We strive to provide proactive guidance, and in this instance, we regret that the lack of coordination on the citizenship application created a situation we could not recover.
We wish you the very best with your Blue Card and future plans. We are available to discuss this further privately.
Sincerely,
The Jobbatical Team
