More than a month after submitting a 100-question application and receiving absolutely no update, I went back to check and did some research on the company. At first, I could barely find anything on Google. When I finally found their website on the second page of the search results, it looked extremely shady. Their LinkedIn and social media links were either broken or didn’t exist.
I was honestly shocked that something like this is happening in the middle of the EU or at least that’s what their domain suggests.
It seems pretty clear that this is a scam collecting personal data through fake job applications for companies that may not even exist, which was also consistent with several other reviews I found here.

JobRack is the biggest scam currently available online. They use shady tactics and lure in really brillian minds and talent mainly from Eastern Europe. Highly educated people, with almost native command of English.
They make them go through dozens and dozens of HIGHLY monotonous and repetitive steps, which is reminiscent of ultra bureaucratic approach. Totally unnecessary waste of both recruiter and employee resources.
But I guess this is just a way for them to take the money and say they're doing something for their clients !
I would refrain and advice to anyone to NEVER do business with them.
Nothing personal, this is from personal experience with 6 rejections lasting approximately 5 months ! (Highly qualified and genuine CV)

Everyone gets rejected. you record videos for recruiters, and this never reaches the employers.
All companies they promote -> zero digital footprint, or barely 20 employees, no public reviews.
you get rejected in few hours maximum. They apparently earn only by outreach, not actual hiring. the companies promoted on JobRack PROBABLY do not even know that this agency is rejecting good candidates for them.
For years, people in Europe (south and east) been complaining about Jobrack. Apparent why.
If you do get chance for testing, you will create test products for FREE and never hear back in weeks or ever. Does not matter if you are politely asking them, you get no answers. unfair, unclear reviewing of applications.
Your CV does not matter, nobody sees it. Only a video self-recording is instant-rejection.
HR improvements you promise have not been evident for years.

Jobrack allows companies to spam applicants

Avoid this company at all costs. Not worth spending 1 minute with them.
Extremely unconventional, unprofessional and non-transparent screening.
Time is money - do not spend your money on Jobrack!

This platform is a complete waste of time. I've applied for several jobs that required answering lengthy questionnaires and providing detailed demonstrations of my knowledge and skills, yet I haven't received a response from a single employer for more than 3 months. What's even more frustrating is that they claim feedback will be provided regardless of the outcome, but that hasn't happened either.
At this point, it feels like they're simply collecting data and extracting free expertise from applicants rather than genuinely hiring. Out of 6 companies I applied to, 4 don't have any kind of digital footprint which just supports the above said.

Job rack was really great at communicating throughout the process which just made the interview experience as smooth as possible
One of the worst platforms. A gruelling application process that requires free work and extremely unprofessional employers. Modern slavery basically.

Such a waste of my time! Been in the industry for 10 years, never had worse experience. Please stay away!

Applied for a role through JobRack and received a generic rejection email with a list of tips on how to improve my application. No interview, no conversation, no individual feedback of any kind. Just a template.
What made it worse: they store your video introduction and reserve the right to reuse it for future applications unless a client specifically requests otherwise. That is not how you treat candidates.
If a platform cannot find time to actually engage with applicants, it should not be in the business of connecting people with jobs. I will not be using JobRack again and would not recommend it to any developer looking for serious opportunities

Had a very good, professional, and positive experience with JobRack as I went through the recruiting process. From start to finish, each step was clear and made sense. Communication was great, as well, especially with the recruiters Chelsea and Ivan. This is probably the best recruitment process I've ever gone through, and I can't recommend them enough! Even after I was placed in my new role at a great company, Ivan personally reached out to me on LinkedIn to send a congratulatory message -- and he wasn't obligated to do so! Recruitment processes only work well when everything is clear and the recruiters are able to answer questions you have. The follow up part is important as well, and JobRack is great at this. If you're looking for a job and you are located in Eastern Europe or South Africa, I highly recommend using JobRack -- can't say enough good things about them!

I had a fantastic experience with Adelina Comaromi. She was very friendly and approachable during our screening call, and throughout the interview process she was extremely supportive, answering all my questions. I would rate Adelina and JobRack 11/10 and highly recommend them!

UPDATE: Stop trying to patronize me Jobrack, for sure it's frustrating to invest time into anything without any result, but you didn't provide any feedback on my work despite your claim that you had 'assessed it' - also the reviews below say otherwise...
I recently went through the recruitment process for a role connected with Patent Bots / JobRack, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing and frustrating.
Chelsea was a totally unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful recruiter who rushed through our call without even apologizing for being late or for the technical glitch that reduced the time available. Because of that, I was unable to say everything I had prepared. She did not apologize for this either. In the end, it did not matter anyway, as I had apparently already been disqualified prior to the call.
As part of the application process, candidates were asked to complete a fairly extensive take-home assignment, which required a significant amount of time and effort and was unpaid.
After submitting the assignment, I scheduled an interview with the recruiter and even cancelled another interview opportunity in order to attend. However, during the scheduled interview I learned that my assignment had already been assessed as insufficient and that I would not be progressing further in the process - I assume she and the CEO of Patent Bots simply decided not to tell me this in advance and only wanted to waste my time -clearly transparency isn't their strongest trait.
This information could easily have been communicated beforehand and would have saved both time and effort. Instead, the interview still went ahead despite the decision already having been made, which felt like a lack of respect for the candidate’s time.
I fully understand that not every application will be successful and that companies must choose the best candidates. That is completely fair. However, when applicants are asked to complete lengthy unpaid assignments, clear communication and transparency become even more important.
I would also encourage companies hiring internationally to ensure that their recruitment practices are aligned with local labour regulations in the jurisdictions where candidates are located, including EU and Bulgarian standards concerning unpaid work and trial tasks.
I am sharing this experience simply so that other applicants know what to expect if they decide to apply

Yeah they are scammers and they are definitely going to waste your time, don’t even bother with that “quick” assignment you are never going to hear back from them

Jobrack is not what it used to be, 6 years ago it was great, Ilma was awesome, but not, especially Chelsie, not so good. I got a 2 jobs there 6 years ago, without any problem ,and with paid tests, now, even thought there have been perfect positions for my skill, i got ghosted or gotten a template rejection email. They seem quite biased, like she wants to hire only people from south Africa. I even got in contact with one of the companies i applied to, and they said they didn't get any of my tests, and were quite surprised.

I’ve had multiple negative experiences with JobRack over the years. Long, unpaid assignments, rejections without any feedback, and very little transparency.
In one case, a company recruiting through JobRack misused my personal ID. JobRack’s response was simply to tell me to report it to the police myself, instead of taking responsibility.
I don’t feel candidates are protected or respected on this platform. I wouldn’t recommend it.
