Glad to have found what I wanted to buy at John Greed. At checkout, the default delivery option was free standard delivery which was the option I was happy with. However the order seemed to have been despatched via express DPD delivery (which in principle, is great) but the tracking email I received from DPD stated that they would deliver to a neigbour if I wasnt in. I contacted John Greed to ask whether they had any way of communicating with DPD or if they could provide me with a contact number to let DPD know not to deliver to any of the neighbours (the DPD tracking / App didn't offer a way to make contact directly). The customer service advisor at John Greed didn't listen to the nature of my query and effectively gas-lit me for not choosing an alternative delivery option at checkout, and a simple query / request for assistance tuned into something so unnecessary. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, but I won't be rushing back to shop with John Greed again!

Thank you for your comments. Sorry to hear you have had an issue with your order. I have had a look at it for you. Due to the high value of your order, it will automatically default to a next-day, fully tracked service. DPD only deliver to the address on the parcel unless it is in special request settings to be delivered to a neighbour. Unfortunately, this is not something we can alter on our end, as it is a request set in your settings. To change these settings, you would need to go to the app and unselect this in the options. If you have any issues in the future, you are more than welcome to email us at hello@johngreed.com as soon as you place your order, and we can adjust the delivery option to suit you. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have spoken to our Customer Service team to ensure the correct information is going out to customers, and they are taking the time to listen to a customer query in full.

Memorial with dogs nose engraved on it
My order included a photo of my dogs nose, the photo I originally sent was not suitable, but the next day I was sent an email with a link to send a second photo, and was also sent a preview to see if I liked it before it was made, so thoughtful and excellent service.
