I recently bought my flat through John Payne Blackheath. Karen was my agent and had a great experience from start to finish. Karen was professional, responsive, and always available to answer questions throughout the process. Buying a property can be stressful, but she made everything feel smooth and well organised.

What stood out most was her honesty, patience, and attention to detail. She kept me updated at every stage and genuinely cared about helping me secure the right home rather than just closing a sale. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a property.

John payne estate agents, and Karen in particular, were really helpful in all aspects of selling our mother’s house. I would definitely recommend them as they were very tenacious and good at solving the problems that inevitably arise when selling an estate.

Karen and the Blackheath John Payne team made our experience of selling our mother’s house as smooth as possible. The team were highly efficient and communication was excellent. I would not hesitate in recommending the team to anyone buying or selling a home.

I viewed a property to rent and made an offer. I promptly completed everything requested including bank statements, 2 forms of ID, work contract, confirmed my salary, provided details of my current landlord as a reference and this still was not sufficient. It took over a week to request even more information and they had not even requested a reference from my current landlord. They had no idea what happened to my holding deposit but was eventually returned (over a week later). I asked for a timeframe for when I would receive the tenancy agreement to sign and this was beyond my notice on my current rental property. Ultimately, I wasted a lot of time when I urgently need to move out of my property. The staff at the office were rude when I called to find out more information. It was so unpleasant that I had to put the phone down. Please avoid renting through this agency. I would also suggest any landlords consider whether it is the best agency, when they could be losing reliable potential tenants.

Richard and his team were excellent throughout our sale and did a great job managing what turned out to be a long and sometimes complex process. They were consistently responsive, proactive, and kept everything moving forward, even when challenges came up.

We also had some personal circumstances towards the later stages, and they were incredibly helpful and supportive during that time, which we really appreciated. Their communication and coordination made a real difference in getting everything over the line.

The team at JP were so accommodating and supportive in our house buying experience. There was no aggressive sales pitch, just effort and support to help us find the right home for us- which Karen did!
