All the staff but especially Ellie were honest, thoughtful and kept me fully advised throughout my first experience of selling a property. Communication was prompt , returning my calls speedily, and chased up any queries I had. I would them again if I needed to and would highly recommend them to anyone selling a property.

Faye Edwards has been my property manager with Shepherds for some time now. Although I don’t have to contact her very often re. my property I have found her pleasant & helpful & she has always contacted me when any problems arise & also when any checks are needed to be done & has dealt with them efficiently.

Not long moved in with a minor leak under the sink , I reported it and straight away a lovely lady called Donatella Riches assisted with great customer service and this was sorted the same day with professionalism to the highest standard .

Result - leak is fixed and not returned since .

From first communication with Jamie at the Cannock office , I have impressed with their customer service. Viewing arranged within 24 hrs and once I expressed interest ;the paperwork was with me the same day .
Gemma became my contact as moving day approached. She coached me through the referencing and financial transactions . Answering my questions , quickly, clearly recognising how stressful moving can be.
Key collrction was quick, flexible on appointment time and very personable.
Two things of note stood out for for from the whole process .
1.There is alot of information that has to be shared with new tenants and it can be information overload .
The team at Cannock have the balance just right, they share all they have to without it ever becoming too much too quick
2. They make you feel valued , its not just numbers on a balance sheet . They understand this could be a long term customer / business relationship and strive to make that connection from the start.
I would recommend John Shepherd estate agents Cannock to anyone looking for that bespoke rental experience.

We were transferred to John Shepherd as customers for property management. They're for sure not our preferred letting agency, they are not located locally to us and our experience with them has been extremely poor.

They manages our buy-to-let properties, yet in December 2025 they reduced our rental income lower than the previous month's rent. This was done without justification. This leaves us the rental charge already much lower than the market rate. They also always use expensive maintenance people who not always solve the issues. They have no mind set to take care of the landlords ' interest.

Will definitely switch to a different agency. I would strongly warn other landlords and property investors to avoid this agency in Cannock if you want your investment managed properly.

I have been renting with John Shepherd Cannock since September and can honestly say they have been perfect. My property manager Faye Edward’s, has been exceptional. Any issues I have had have dealt with promptly and professionally. Faye is a credit to John Shepherd.

I had a great experience working with Tom Francis as my letting agent. He was always professional, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. Tom kept me well-informed throughout the entire process and took the time to clearly explain everything, which made things much smoother and less stressful. I really appreciated his responsiveness and attention to detail — it made a big difference.

Today, Jayvon came over for the semi-annual inspection.
We had scheduled the appointment in advance, and he arrived right on time. He was very polite, brought his own shoe covers, and explained everything very clearly.

Our property manager is Faye Edwards, and she's an absolute superstar. Nothing is too much trouble, and she's always more happy to help. We've been with John Shepherd now since 2012, and we are more than happy with the way we've been looked after.

Amazing people they help us a lot. They’re always supportive with us on the phone or email with information Emily and Amy that always was so cheerful and helpful with us. Have lots of patience and all answers for our questions. Cannock store that I think best store Cannock can be in our area people they’re hundred percent devoted to their job The caring about the customer and they’re always so supportive with everything. Hope more people like this in the future, but you never change you are the best.

Property in Stafford bolsover dr all the flooring came up in my friends flat and it took them nearly 18 months to remedy plus made my friends move out at their own cost to fix this! Then they want to take money back from their deposit for damaged cause by contractors doing the work

I have dealt with Ellie for the most at John Shepherd and I can honestly say she has made a very stressful journey more manageable.

Communication was excellent, emails and calls have always been returned same day.

Her professionalism and knowledge and customer service was second to none.
